Great memory challenging game. Lots of color with various backgrounds. It really makes you take notice of what you have seen and in what order. I would highly recommend this game for a daily dose of brain stimulation as it is more fun and challenging than the puzzle games that I am use to completing.

multiplayer has no commentary. Pretty boring. Also need to download an app just to play, about 30mb which is quite ridiculous.

It's a simple memory game which can be enjoyable, but is not worth the price. I like the somewhat twists of replacing an item or leaving out an item, but the game itself is very boring. I multiplayer and single player both once, but honestly can't say that I would play it again. I found it irritating that you had to download an app just to play multiplayer. Multiplayer also does not work well. It uses your wifi connection for the game to detect the app on your phone so you need to be connected to the same wifi network, but both my friend and I were frequently disconnected even though we were both connected to the internet the whole time and sitting maybe a foot away from the computer. I honestly would not recommend getting this game and I honestly will probably not play it again.

Would happily change this to a Yes recommendation if the company honors the promise they make on the store page, that Mobile IOS devices are supported. They are not. The IOS link shown in the game brings to an AppStore link that does not work on any of the latest Iphone or Ipad devices in the US, and searching for "Mega Dwarf Party Controller" does not yield any results in the AppStore. It can be found on Android, and worked fine for us. Being 2 years since launch, it's unlikely this will ever get fixed so sticking with a negative review.

A creative and addicting game for the right price!! I could play this for hours; whether you have a group of friends or want to play solo, its fun! This is a must buy! If you would like to see gameplay on it. Checkout my video below on youtube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AMiqANzx6Y

Multiplayer requires an app but it's not available in the Canadian AppStore.

Editing this review to add more information to help others. We got this game because it was marked as local coop with phone support for the controller, which is the type of game we play on game night with friends. We only tried out the coop so I can't speak to the single player, but here are our thoughts. The first issue we has was getting the game to launch. On first few launches, it was running at a VERY low FPS and task manager showed it maxing out the CPU. The menu was unresponsive and the background behind the menu was moving at only a few frames per minute. This was on a NVIDIA 1060 that we normally use for VR. Anyway, restarting the game a few times didn't solve the issue. A full reboot did improve the performance, but the menu still acted sluggish so we lowered the graphics settings to low. That made it at least playable, but not great. For the phone as controller connection part, we also had trouble getting it to connect. You don't get to pick your name, image, and there is no loading messages. We had 2 androids and an Iphone and all 3 had issues connecting. While loading, you just get a view of the title screen on the phone with no buttons or log information at all so it was hard to tell if it was working. When joining, you are assigned a random name, but it appeared to not work great because the iphone user would get the same character as one of the android users. It also seemed to reassign the names if you disconnected for any amount of time or something else was wrong because we kept randomly switching before we started the game. Overall, the phone connection process was buggy and confusing. For the actual gameplay, the game quickly displays a few toppings falling from the sky to build a sandwich then you are given the change to tap out the order that you remember. In terms of a memory game, there were 4 things to remember each round, but they were different based on the sandwich being built. We found the quality of the images to be a little confusing since we couldn't always guess what the topping was unless it was the undead parts level. The real issue with the gameplay was actually the lack of meaningful sounds. The only sound was the quiet background music (sounded the same all the time) and a single wet slapping noise of the toppings hitting the sandwich. During the reveal, it was silent and all results were displayed at the same time (by tiny checkmarks and crosses). One player was eliminated early on and we actually didn't know why. What I mean is, we didn't know what causes eliminations, how many you could miss and keep playing, and there was no way to configure anything as far as we could tell. The end of round results seemed very unpolished and without sound or scoring was just confusing in general. Overall, we found no enjoyment in the game and quickly requested a refund with steam. We hope that this review will help others.
