I played Zeliria Sanctuary a few times and overall, I enjoyed it. It’s not my favorite visual novel, but I liked the sci-fi story and the art style a lot. You play as a guy who takes a job using a strange teleporter and ends up on a weird planet called Zeliria. The world feels different but kind of familiar. Along the way, you meet interesting characters who affect the story and your choices. The main goal is to survive and find a way off this planet.
There are many choices to make, though I didn’t explore all of them. The free 18+ DLC didn’t work well for me, but that didn’t ruin the game. The price is reasonable for what you get, and I’d recommend it. The biggest downside is some awkward translation—some sentences sound strange or unclear, which can be distracting if you’re picky about language. But it’s still understandable and doesn’t ruin the fun.
Pros:
-Great and unique art style
-Interesting sci-fi story that’s different from other visual novels
-Nice, clean interface
-Lots of choices that change the story
-Good value for the price
-Decent music and voice acting
Cons:
-The free DLC didn’t work properly for me
-Some sentences are confusing due to translation issues
-I wish there were more story options and endings
-The overall feel was a little off sometimes, like it could be polished more
For the price, Zeliria Sanctuary is a good visual novel, especially if you like sci-fi and adult themes. The story and characters are solid, the art is great, and it’s worth checking out if you enjoy visual novels.
