The game is quite difficult if you want to get full achivement.
Early enemy can disrupt the control of your character, and the other avoid your attacks.
After Zone 40+, the majority of opponents and obstacle can 1 hit-KO your character even if your character is full-upgraded.
This game difficulty scale is increased by power, not from 1➝2➝3➝4➝5 but 1➝4➝9➝16➝25.
Unless you're Hardcore gamer, Acv. Hunter, or Collector/Generous (for less than 1$), don't even bother to buy this game.

i don't like it,looks like one of that games that you can create for FREE online by google "Create 2D games online",there is no storytelling,no planets to explore ecc. You walk in a tunneL,grab goins, shoot little quantity of enemies, jump (or double jump) for avoid traps and buy some weapons.

DEEP SPACE is a permadeath platformer that uses procedural generation for a high-score gameplay; I hesitate to call it a traditional roguelite, even though it has some of its elements. The game supports leaderboards, but you will have to grind the upgrades before you have a fair chance, it only takes about 1 hour to do so. Otherwise, it is a fun game despite not being particularly original. Your run can end very suddenly do to combination of enemy effects, which is a good thing because it keeps the player on the edge. There are several different weapons although I find that balancing could be a little better; the default weapon feels somewhat superior because you don't need many bullets to kill an enemy.
You can also increase some passive stats such as health or shield duration. I find it odd that game keeps the upgrades, not something that you would expect in a high-score format. Having a direct power progression gives you advantage over a new player, I probably would prefer a luck based system that would reset upon death, that way every run would be different (like picking between 3 upgrades every few stages). You would have a hard time competing without unlocking the health upgrades for example. The movement feels tight but the game does not have a full controller support. I thought the pixel art and music were just decent for the price.
Pros:
+ tight gameplay and challenging difficulty
+ nice variety of enemies with unique powers
+ several weapons and upgrades
+ decent pixel art and music
+ supports leaderboards
Cons:
- you can't rebind controls
- not enough variety for more than few hours
- I think the high-score system and upgrades could have been handled better
Final Thoughts 6/10
It is a decent roguelite(ish) platformer for the price as long as you not expecting something original. If you like grinding high-scores you might enjoy it for a couple of hours; I am looking forward to giving it another 100 attempts or so. Fun but pretty average.
