Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
So this is another 180 degree wave shooter. However, the graphics are wonderful. It has dual flintlock pistols so it does feel a bit different than most wave shooters. You do have to duck or block or shoot projectiles from the enemy. However, there's only 1 enemy type. So it does get repetitive fast, even though it looks amazing.
I just can't recommend the game on the Oculus Rift with Touch controllers. To shoot you have to press down on the joystick or move up and down fast while pulling the trigger simultaneously. So shooting is cumbersome. Especially when you have to shoot a lot in this game. I had several times where the gun just never shot because of this control scheme.
I did notice the game is not listed as Oculus compatible. But a game released in May 23, 2018 that has this control scheme that makes it almost unplayable on the Oculsu Rift, I don't feel bad leaving a negative review. Besides, in all honesty, although the game looks great, the wave shooter is very mediocre. And it's priced too high. I would have given a 5/10 without the issues with the Oculus Touch especially at this price point.
Rate 4/10. If you're on the Vive or Windows MR it may be worth $2.59 USD on sale, but not for us Oculus users. Definitely don't recommend this game for anybody at $12.99 USD normal price.
