very good game but i've played it in its early days when it was free on gamejolt but damm this game is very laggy and i have a very beefy computer also it doesent have PS4 controls they show it as xbox controls which for many people is quite crappy so i do not really recommend this game. For now atleast.

This was everything I love in a platform game. Perfect controls, good sized levels with enough cunning secrets to keep you coming back, clear objectives, and wonderful music. The swimming really surprised me. When I saw the water I thought "Oh, no", but it works flawlessly. I couldn't fault it, until I reached the level with the dirty bird. Would I recommend the game? YES. But be prepared to rage quit when you meet that asthmatic pigeon.

holy moly guys you gotta check this soundtrack the game is nice, good controls, interesting puzzles and challenges, most of the saci puzzles are bullshit but they're optional, there's at least one fun minigame but guys the soundtrack omg

Raccoo Venture is an absolutely brilliant game! It reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy with that sense of being just a little bit hard at times, followed by a little dopamine pop of accomplishment. The art work is lovely and the level design is ingenious at times. Even though Raccoo is a new and unknown character, I'll buy every DLC, sequel or game that Diego Ras puts out. I'm stunned to think that Diego Ras is the lone developer. Imagine if there were 10 of him working on one game. Diego has a bright future and it will be fun to follow his career.

This game is so much fun and addictive. It has the vibe of Mario 64, but mixed with its own special charm. The developer is very thoughtful and caring about the game and the community. Although it's on early access, so far I haven't seen any bugs, hence the care the developer has for the game. I can't wait to see how it'll evolve to the final release.

Raccoo Venture is a funny and challenging 3D platformer with a lot of references to brazilian culture (such as Cangaço and the legend of Saci Pererê). However, the game can get a bit too challenging at some points, so be prepared for rage quitting a few times.

Racoo Venture starts of strong, with a decent art style and solid collect-athon platforming. However, by the end of the second world, the platforming gets more challenging and flaws start to show. It's a 3D Platformer with a fixed camera angle, which can work, but Raccoo Venture does not design its levels well around this. The amount of times you need to jump towards or away from the camera increases, and is exacerbated by transparent platforms that don't show a shadow for your guy (Raccoo?). Add in small landing zones where your shadow isn't visible until you are about to land, and moving platforms that are only visible if you are right next to them, and the challenge becomes frustrating due to the lack of camera control. It ends up feeling like you are intuiting where Raccoo is in the 3D space, rather than having actual visual cues to rely on. I've replayed the early levels several times since they were fun, but I always drop off after the fixed camera leads to too much frustration. There was a lot of potential with this game and a lot of hard work went into it, but after exiting early access, it's just not very fun.

Raccoo Venture is in early access and is unfinished, but other then the "to be continued" sign, it doesn't feel that way. The mechanics work well, reminiscent of those 3D platformers we played on the N64 and the like. It also just looks good. I have encountered one bug in 10 hours of play (and it was minor and almost missable). Some players will get extremely frustrated with the bird character, Pru. She is a puzzle in herself, and I hope she gets better farther into the game. We can unlock air bubbles, so maybe stamina can be unlocked later too. The last level available currently unlocks an interesting mechanic with flowers. It has some use now, but I look forward to how else it will be used. I'm sitting at 86% completion right now. I plan to come back and keep looking while I wait for the game to update with more levels.

This is a great and really impressive work by a single dev. The fluid gameplay mechanics with beautiful art and a cool story makes it a great deal for the price. Really worth checking it out!
