It is very pleasing that the game is constantly developing. The developer is always trying to improve the game and is not afraid to listen to the opinions of the players! I hope to see new modes and more content in the future. Although now the game is very good for a group of friends

Only liked 1 of the 4 modes really, the drawing one. Still worth the money just for that on a sale

At this stage of development I wouldn't recommend purchasing this game but I can see potential in this title. There are currently 4 games within this that play similar to a jackbox game. One person is in VR and the others play via their phone First game the person is VR is trying to hunt down people stealing money. I had a magnifying glass in one hand that seemed to do nothing except magnify and I could only randomly throw people out of the arena if I saw money disappear Second game started kinda slow and was quite boring for me but got better by the third state Third game was where we spent most of our time. Person in VR gets a word and then draws it for everyone and they have to guess (Think pictionary) a bit difficult trying to work out a 3D space for drawing but quite fun (I would get the game on sale for this alone) Forth game we couldn't even work out how to play so we went back to drawing. With some polish, clarification on how to play some games and some re-working of the controls (Please don't make us use the side button on a vive wand) this game will shine. I hope to see more updates soon

While it's early access and there are definitely some rough edges, there's a lot of promise here. It's great to have a VR game that allows friends to be involved. Certainly one to watch.

EDIT: I can no longer recommend this as it isn't remotely worth buying unless it's going to be worked on, and it hasn't gotten a single update in the year and a half since I bought it. First of all, this is a very Early Access game, by the developer's own admission. The current quality of the game does reflect that, but as long as you understand that going in, then I can definitely recommend supporting this game. I purchased, installed, and play tested this last night with part of our regular friend group when they came over, and overall we had a great time. Particularly, the Perspective Detective and Guessing Gallery games were great fun for the whole group. The idea behind this game (suite) has a looooot of potential to become a social game staple in our household - the games are simple but fun, and connecting over the wifi via the browser was an absolute breeze, although I was a little skeptical at first. Because of these things, I'm happy to support this developer and hope that he/she is able to put the time that this deserves in to polish up and expand what is right now a bit more than a demo into its full glorious potential! Now, on to the issues and critiques that I'd like to mention. First, the games where a virtual joystick and button were required had some issues, and only worked for some players (or on and off for others) - often disallowing input altogether. There were some issues where taking photos with my main camera (as opposed to my phone's front "selfie" camera) would fail my joining a game. The Shooting Gallery game seemed like it needed a little more variety or perhaps difficulty, I think. Mission Control may be able to use some additional instructional tips, because we never quite got the hang of it, and it appeared to be too chaotic to be playable at all - but again maybe we just didn't fully understand the correct flow of play. Finally, Guessing Gallery was by far the most stable and fun for us all last night, and I only have an idea for that one: allow the artist to point-grab-and-move the camera so that they can show the viewers multiple angles, allowing them to draw in 3D! You could also allow custom timers (to allow players to decide how fast they want to go, and perhaps even disable timers in favor of a number of drawings), and allow more or custom words to be used. I would honestly see myself buying this game solely for this minigame if it were fleshed out well. Regarding pricing, it's currently not something that I'd expect to pay $14.99 for, but I think that might be a fair price once it's finished, and I believe in Party Line's potential and future enough to pay that now. I can't wait to see how this evolves!

I really like the painting game and the bank robber game. Be sure to disable VR view when you play or everyone will be able to see what you're doing. Pros: -games are fun to play with a group -there aren't any other games like this for groups and vr Cons: -I can barely get 30fps on my machine for some reason. It's not a very demanding game either. Seems like they need to optimize it to run smoother -the wild west game controls are a little weird and cumbersome Overall, it has lots of potential and I'm excited to see how they improve it. I hope they fix the performance soon.

Great Idea for a game, but it is still rough and bug filled. As of this post I do not think it is in a state worth buying. However, if the bugs get fixed and the edges get polished i think this would be a must have party VR game.

This is a very fun game to play with friends. Currently there are some bugs such as the leaderboard not showing the proper winner of the round(Usually displays the lowest score as the winner), and Shootin Showdown ends unexpectedly, but Mission Control and Guessing Gallery are tons of fun. It could definitely benefit from some polish but it's very fun to play with friends.

Had potential but unfortunately the game hasn't gotten a single update in about a year and it doesn't look like there will ever be another.

PartyLine VR is a great VR party game with loads of potential. The current 4 games are all fun to play despite a fair amount of bugs that show up. At its current state I would still recommend it and look forward to future updates and fixes. The developer is also very responsive and reactive showing promise to the future of the game. edit: Coming up to a year without any furhter updates, unfortunately I would no longer recommend this game. While there is a good amount of potential, the game has a lot of bugs and has no indication of improvement.
