27 Jun, 2024 @ 10:05am (Decide to give it positive due to dev finally responded) Hey, wanted to thank the dev for noticing my message at Discord to get the main bug fixed. Hope new updates coming soon! 26 Dec, 2022 @ 4:21pm (Negative Review) ??? I wanted to solve the mystery but the suspects can't understand English.

Game is incredibly broken, a lot of dialogue options just won't work despite making perfect sense making the game incredibly frustrating to play and progress.

This is an interrogation simulator -- you're given a crime to solve and question persons of interest, with choices of words and phrases to choose from as you pursue your line of questioning. The concept is great and during the beginning of its release the developer was clearly passionate about this project, pushing constant updates with new content and fine-tuning the parse vocabulary. However, updates have fallen off, with only one update in the past year. That said, at the current cost of admission of less than a dollar, the game is still well worth the buy.

Tell Me Everything is a detective simulator where you are questioning 3 suspects in order to solve a murder. You basically make sentences from a word bank based on the clues that you collected. I was admittedly a little confused with the gameplay, mostly because your choices are very limited to a specific subject. So far I find that playing with hints (on) makes the experience more enjoyable. You still have to decide which suspect is guilty so having hints does not completely ruin the game, it just makes it a lot faster. If you blame the wrong character the game is over, plus you need enough evidence to support your claims or the murderer will get away. I like that uncertainty aspect, it is hard to tell if you have reached the conclusion. Each character has attributes such as frustration and confusion. I am not sure how much impact they have aside from giving a game over. I just try to stay away from maxing them, It would be cool if high anger could trigger a different dialogue though. I like that you can get several achievements by asking stupid questions that are not related to the case. The interrogation is a very interesting concept and I personally liked the humor. There are some occasional spelling mistakes, but I thought it was tolerable for the most part (English is not my first language though). Also, it needs some updates like better shortcuts to avoid wasting time.
Pros:
+ interesting concept that provides a detective expereince + character attributes that have some impact + achievements for some dialogue jokes + consequences for blaming wrong guy with lack of evidence (game over) + the narrative is interesting in my opinion + on/off hints
Cons:
- very limited choices, too hard without hints - UI needs some shortcuts and evidence summary - occasional spelling mistakes - not complete yet Overall Thoughts 6/10 (8/10 with proper updates and more content) This game managed to escape my harsh criticism by being $1, but I genuinely like the concept and I think it has some space for improvement. It is very difficult without hints, they don't completely ruin the game so you should just keep them on. I don't think that I ever played an actual detective game, this was new and exciting experience for me. With more content and more possibilities, it can be decent game. Game is so broken and buggy that I can't reliably do anything without another problem popping up out of nowhere, I've had the game bug out every 5 minutes, no exaggeration, it is NOT stable in the slightest, and they were always MAJOR bugs, from save deletion, to not being able to access anything. The game is abandoned anyways so there's not much hope in the bugs getting ironed out sadly.

A great concept, brilliant really. Possibly an over-ambitious concept, to be honest. The single person dev had some bad life stuff happen, I think, and despite some promises that the rest of this game would be finished eventually, it's unfinished and extremely buggy past the first chapter. This game is at least half-dead. Nevertheless! I think it's worth checking out anyway, just to see what they were trying to do. It's pretty cheap.

Fun idea but buggy, with a counter-intuitive interface that moves slowly. Impossible to win two variations due to major bug that refuses to produce constable's dialog boxes.

I really like this game, and wish I could suggest it, but I just can't. Currently, pretty much only the first case works. There's a bug with the constable that stops the other two from working. It's just not worth it to buy a game so broken that you can't access two thirds of it. If this ever gets fixed, I'd gladly review this game positively, but until then, please don't buy it.

I wish I could recommend the game because it's very fun despite somewhat slow and clunky gameplay. The problem is that it's incredibly buggy. Out of the 9 cases, I've only been able to play one without game killing bugs and it doesn't seem to be supported whatsoever by the developer anymore. Bummer.

The concept is very interesting but sadly the execution is less than optimal. Many things should be improved, but my major problem with it is that It can be very frustrating when a witness clearly contradic himself but you dont have any real way to confront him about his lies. If it was an early acces I would recommand it but has a "complete" game there is just to many thing that still need to be improved (like a notebook that list all the question you've already asked and their answer). Maybe wait a little bit for the game to improve...
