Seriously, this is the H.P. Lovecraft short story portrayed in 1920's style B&W silent film with sound track. Highly recommended to Cthulhu experts and fans worldwide. The feature is half normal length so you will have some time left within the hour to make some lemonade and popping corn, enjoy.

The "silent" movie is great. The music is just right. I have watched it repeatedly on DVD and without problems after purchasing it today on Steam streaming only model.

Using Steam to stream movies is like going to your local cinema to play one of their few displayed arcade games, but for this film you should make an exception. There's only two people I'd trust in making a film set in Lovecraft's bleak universe: Del Toro and the H.P Lovecraft Historical Society (a dedicated group of actors, gamers, musicians, prop builders as well as Lovecraft ethusiasts and, most imporantly, the makers of this film.) This "oldy mouldy" is as close as you'll get to an accurate potrayal of the original story and created, almost flawlessly, as a film in the Jazz age, the era the original story was penned and published. Even though this film was more than likely produced on a shoe string budget the acting, directing, costumes and effects are on point, if not a little cheap at times. I farking love this film. It's a good film. You should buy this film or forever be lost in a non-euclidian maze in the sunken city of R'leyh. A must for any H.P Lovecraft fan.
