I like trivia games.
I liked this game at first.
Then I got to the broken part, the "Librarian".
It was added by;
"Update to 1.1.2
MAY 26 - BEATFU.STUDIO
...
List of Major Updates 1.1
...
4. New Building “Library” and New character “The Librarian.”
NOTE At this time none of the recommended reviews are dated after this update!
This game had to fix broken achievements in a privious update and here they add two more and didn't bother to see if the two they added worked.
If they had done any QA the dev would have seen they don't work.
Still 0%, ZERO, of all players have gotten the two achievements associated with the Librarian.
EDIT Librarian achievements fixed. Now the only problem I have is the Visitor.
The "Visitor" character.
Every single question he asks is about some obscure bit of knowledge about the country of Indonesia.
An older update 1.0.4 reads "Removes 103 obscure questions".
Why then are the Visitor and his questions still in the game?
Were the devs threatened or got some kind of government "financial assistance" to include the Visitor and his questions?
Tough questions involving a strong broad knowledge base are fine.
But a whole section about some repressive, religious country, no.
Dump the visitor.
With the fixes, the $9.99 full price would still be double what the game is worth.
Wait for the fixes and buy when it's 50% off.

I was a little apprehensive about buying this for 5$ because a lot of quiz games on steam are pretty bad but I liked the look so I gave it a try. I must say I was not disappointed.
This game was funny with nice art and enjoyable music. The questions were a nice mix of difficulties with some trick questions. The characters are awesome and their reactions are priceless. I love how their looks and reactions line up with the quiz category they represent.
Features I really liked was the way you could pick your subjects in order of your chosing because it gets harder with each opponent. So you should start with subjects you are worst at.
Also liked that you could back out of a quiz whenever you liked. So you don't have to finish it if you are doing poorly and wouldn't get an A. Although a quick restart button here would be appreciated so you don't have to go back to the room to pick characters each time.
What I didn't like was how slow it can be. For example at the end of a quiz you have to sit through some extra dialogue and clicking. And yes, it was funny, but after reading it one time that's enough, so a skip button here would be appreciated also.
But all by all it wasn't as slow as some other games I've played.
I also didn't love the "boss" being economics, business and politics but that's just because I'm so horrible at that subject.
The devs should do an extra spell/question check though. But I have to say the English was very good. Just some small spelling mistakes and some questions that were the same but worded differently.
Overall I loved this game a lot. It is one of the most enjoyable quiz games on steam I have played so far. I didn't even mind the extra Indonesian knowledge quiz cause the charachter was so friendly and funny and it was interesting.
ps: all achievements work

This game is hilariously funny and, while it may not look like it, is well worth it cost of $10. Please add more characters to the game and less US-based questions please developers!

Humiliating quiz with a dash of humour
‘What Are You Stupid’ is a trivia based single player game published and developed by Beat-Fu studios. To be precise only 3 people made this game possible. Inspired by the old comic stripes: ‘What Are You Stupid’, the humour is surely 10/10 for each and every character who challenges you in their respective mastered fields and the goal is to beat them. Currently this game is available only on PC and all you need is a mouse to play.
The whole game is hand-drawn which makes it more interesting in each and every aspect. You are playing as the youngest child of the family who is not being treated well and his knowledge is questioned (told through a quick story at the beginning of the game) and thus he goes on a spree to prove each and every family member wrong and to say at the end of quiz -“I’m not stupid”(but, ONLY if you win the quiz). The topics range from Animals to Games, Sports to Socialite Subjects, Food and Culinary to Science. It starts from your own house where you first challenge your Dad and then you can challenge your mother, sister or brother before going to other relative’s houses. All the questions are asked in a multiple choice format with a clock ticking above your head. The quiz time is 5-8 minutes per
opponent. When you select any opponent, a pop-up appears giving a brief intro of the opponent, its mastered field/category, HP, Damage and quiz speed and one comment by the devs and gives me two options whether to challenge or maybe not. Hit challenge and the quiz begins, where, if you answer incorrectly then your HP is reduced and if you answer correctly then opponent HP is reduced (shown in a life bar format placed above the heads of the character). At first I thought the questions were not so difficult and the pace of the questions asked and the HP reduced were also on the easier side(for the early opponents), but as the game progressed, the pace increased and your HP is greatly reduced, but by that time you become addicted to the game.
The person who created these characters has done the animation extremely wacky. When the quiz starts, the characters are extremely normal, but when you give one right answer then the opponent anger starts coming out and when HP is half of the opponent then the frustration is a delight to watch and your opponent threatens you, emphasising on each and every word (as if spitting on you) and suddenly the quiz becomes faster. At the end of quiz when the opponent HP is zero, the frustration and expressions are of top notch quality. So many different characters with such exaggerated expressions against a black and white theme which is all hand drawn with a nice balance to all the questions asked and unlockables/rewards for getting great scores (‘A’ grade) on each level adds to the replayability of the game.
I was hugely disappointed with the music and sound of the game. At first, it seemed fine, but as the game progressed, the music was plain annoying. I wish that all the dialogues were spoken in English to add more effect. At the end of every quiz, a detailed report is given for the no. of questions asked, no. of questions answered right or wrong or out of time, grades are also given- A, B and C. Some topics were fairly easy for me like Games and Sport, but some like Science were tough for me. My favourite character was ‘Aunt Mary’ whose topic was ‘Food and Culinary’. Although I had to play three times, but her character’s expression, attitude and her frustration were the most entertaining for me.
The biggest drawbacks for me, apart from the sound and music, was that this game is not a multiplayer game as it would be really fun to challenge your friends and test their knowledge about such different fields with a vast database of questions. The game can take 2-5 hours to complete depending upon how soon you can clear each opponent. You can re-challenge the levels/opponents until you get an ‘A’ to get the unlockables/rewards. The game can be said to be a good mix of easy and difficult levels as it maintains a good balance of questions asked.
When the game is re-started, it starts from your own house rather than the house you left the game at. After the completion of each quiz before the detailed report comes out, a voice-over says, “All right, next one” which I think can be said after the detailed report. When challenged again then challenge/maybe not confirmation does not appear.
The best part of this game for me, apart from the black and white theme, hand drawn characters and the expression of all the characters, was that this game imparts a great amount of knowledge to the user in many different fields in a educational, entertaining and fun way.
Pros
+ Entertaining
+ Extremely creative artwork
+ Educational
+ Unique personalities
+ Guaranteed laughs
Cons
- English language is not used
- Music and Sound are below average
So I would highly recommend this game and would give it an 8/10- Amazing!

Lots of quirky charm and personality. Even though some of the questions are too easy and some are too hard, overall there's a good mix of topics and most of the questions are reasonable. Taken -just- as a quiz game it will probably disappoint given the price, but if you can appreciate the humour and illustrations it's well worth it.

This game has no motivation, and the quizzes are either too obscure or way too easy. This just isn't worth your money. You could get the same effect buying a quiz app on your phone.

I have never been a fan of quiz game, and this game is more like a comedy show with a quiz theme. For those who expect a serious game show quiz, you'll be disappointed. I gotta admit that I fell for its awesome arts and the character design is hilarious. The con is probably no replay value once you cleared the game, but an overall great game and very entertaining one.
NOTE: There are minor cussing and satire humor inside it.
