A little different than the HOG that i usually play. Select a book, and solve the puzzles, then another book until all the books have been solved.

This is the first Azada game I've ever played. I was blown away. I loved the idea of going into books to solve puzzles and help the main characters. This has an old-game atmosphere. It is full of mini games & puzzles. I look forward to playing it again in the future.

A really cool sequel to the first game. The puzzles are mostly less tricky but still very cool. The mechanics and the style are really nice and the game was overall really fun to play. Its cool that the games connect to each othe by adding a little bonus where you need the information of the first game. I can highly recommend it.

I remember playing this game when I was a child. The puzzles were hard and I got frustrated quick, but I loved the story and all the characters. Now, the puzzles are fairly easy and the game still has a lot of the same charm I remember it having. I still love this game as much as I did when I first played it.
Short version: 74%
Azada 2 loses a good chunk of replay value, but its decision to focus on the best part of its predecessor was a genius idea. It definitely aged—however, its pixel hunt point-and-click play style manages to hold up even today, if you like puzzle games with some plot to them.
Long version:
Azada 2: Ancient Magic offers a large collection of storybook puzzles—loosely based on famous stories—where we have to flip back and forth between pages (scenes) to search for an item or a hot spot, and the occasional minigame. Although many players would justly feel that this is nothing but taking the meticulous pixel hunt aspects of classic point and click adventures and stretching them into an entire game, Azada 2 manages to turn this into its biggest advantage. Despite some repeating and recurring elements, the static images, and the lack of voice acting, each book feels distinct and unique, including their internal logic, progression, and even the minigames. Although the solutions are always the same, completing all stories takes a good chunk of time, exchanging the high replay value of the first Azada for variety and puzzle design. While this also means that Ancient Magic lacks its predecessor’s longevity, it is still probably the the most fun game to play in this series.

Really enjoyable game. I had to really cudgel the old brain cells on some of the puzzles but it was awesome to figure them out on my own. Felt like a great brain work out. Highly recommended.
