La Mulana 2 is not better than La mulana 1. The first half of La Mulana 2 is better than the first game, but the second half is so much worst. The easiest example is [spoiler] that the final dungeon of this game is the optional troll dungeon of the first game [/spoiler]. That part alone is responsible for nearly 20% of people who killed all the guardians and reach the final challenge to then quit the game. It's absurd that such a huge percent of people who made it 35 hours+ into game will all quit all because of one area.
I love the idea of these games, but the devs don't know how to reel back the worst design decisions.

One of my favorite games ever, has a ruin exploration vibe thats very hard to match. The puzzles are very hard, If you don't want to use a walkthrough then you pretty much need to take notes of every hint the game gives you. The exploration is 10/10. It's very niche, but if you're into what it is then you'll be sad that there's nothing else like it
