I really wanted to like this game. A classic style point and click adventure, with great graphics and animation. A mix of old Lucasarts and Sierra games, but unfortunately overshadowed by lengthy and uninteresting dialogue and automated scenes - a lot of which cannot be skipped. This makes it more a cartoon/interactive story on rails than a game. I suspect writers and voice actors were a lot cheaper than graphic artists and animators.
Pick up everyhing, talk to everybody and it is quite obvious when and where the items should be used - with a few exceptions. Repeat.
Betty is an annoying protagonist, and so is the voice acting. Her mother is a bit better. The story is meh, so is the humor. The most funny part was the death scenes.
In-game achievements might seem as a good idea, but I don´t believe anyone would replay the game to unlock all of these.
The few puzzles in the game seem to have been added in hurry towards the end. The game is not very challenging, the most challenging is to endure all the meaningless dialogue and automated scenes.

I just started the game and I would totally recommend it, as point and click games fan I can say that this game is from the few Point and Click games that has sharp graphics. I just wish Broken Sword to learn how to make their games look better and sharp like this one. The game seems well put from the menu to the game play.
