Warning: Asset Flip!

Geeste is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Skobbejak Games/Skermunkel, took the UFPS: Ultimate FPS Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Opsive, slapped a few questionable, probably "borrowed" stock assets onto it, used it to build a very basic FPS arena, then dumped it onto Steam. And sure, to some extent these asset packs are for "making FPS games", but they're designed to educate developers who need to learn, not replace the actual job of game development.
And this game absolutely fails the fundamental litmus test when it comes to "Is this an asset flip?". The "developers" behind this shovelware did not credit any of the actual, real game developers whose work they are trying to profit from. There's no game credits, instead, dishonestly, the "developers" here are trying to claim the work of Opsive as their own... whether or not this is permissible in the license for the asset is irrelevant... claiming the work of others as your own is unethical... and doing that for profit is borderline criminal plagiarism.
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "UFPS: Ultimate FPS" is just a comprehensive toolkit to allow "developers" who don't know how to make FPS games to make FPS games, that's been reskinned and filled out with a bunch of dubious assets, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended.
Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.
Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Skobbejak Games/Skermunkel.

Fix the bug thats makes ghosts able to run away from you into you and just carry you to whatever part of the map they please. That way yu require to shoot them with the blue gun.
Oh and I don't know if this is intentional or not, but ghosts I have already hit with the blue gun that will despawn, will just go back to being able to kill me when they respawn.
Its a mediocre game, and I was expecting a more linear horror game (all I saw was kill ghosts with guns) but it runs smoothly and if you know what kind of game your buying I guess its good? Very repetative though
I'm just going to give it a thumbs up because theres no option that goes in between yes and no

It's like Doom Guy and Ms.Pac-Man had a baby...
...and then Doom Guy shook that baby just a bit too much.

I love this game a lot more than I expected. I could never get into Pac-Man that much but this is loads of fun to me. The only issue I have with the game is that, when there are very few souls left, I often spend a considerable amount of time looking for them, which isn't very fun. Perhaps a map could appear in the corner of the screen when there are 10 souls remaining or something to fix this minor issue. It also wouldn't hurt to have a round select with an in-game timer to do time trials. Regardless, if you think Pac-Man as a first-person shooter (with gimmicks added every level) sounds fun, I would definitely give this a try.

Geeste ("Ghosts").
-This is a very simple game as there is nothing to do beyond getting souls and shooting ghosts.
-The game also feels very barebones, despite its simplicity:
• Very basic soundtrack.
• No real style is used in the environment, which doesn't aid in the barebones feeling.
The game feels like a group of unity assets placed together, which is likely what causes these feelings of bareboneness.
I do not recommend this game to anyone. If you want to support the developers then I recommend their previous title, as it is a considerably better experience than this.

This is a Pac-Man clone.
Yes, you've read that right. You attack the score by wandering around the map trying to collect all balls when chased by ghosts, with big (or in this case, blue) balls making ghosts vulnerable and running away from you for a while.
There are some minor differences, though:
- the ghosts are creepy, not colourful and cute
- the layout of map and where the balls are is unknown and therefore you have to search a bit
- the ghosts do not block all the hallway, so you may dodge them if you're quick enough
- you don't "eat" the ghost when powered up, but shoot them.
Anyway, this is a very simple game with even more simple technical execution. It feels more like a Ludum Dare entry rather than a sold game. I've paid about half an euro for it in a discount and it still seems too much.
The ghosts are cool and creepy, though.
