Boring story told in a very slow way. Didn't agree with main character choises. Could not relate. Ugly and boring graphics. Repetetive and boring pianomusic. All in all, a big waste of time.

It's an OK Game.
Not Bad but not too good either, takes you around 30 minutes, but it will make you feel something.

Over the last 5 years, I have learned to appreciate the "walking simulator" as a genre, being somewhat of a hater of this type of game prior to that. It took a long time to sell me the idea of narrative(only) 3D games because most of them were just boring 3D maps pretending to have an artistic purpose, games like the Drowning . Here we have a game with a generic narrative and 3D environment that does not seem to complement the story. Sometimes these games can get away with no gameplay if the narrative is strong, or if they have constant psychological effects - Virginia is a good example. This game tries to tell the story by putting walls of text in front of your face, which should have been done with a voice actor, I mean you only needed one person.
As with most low-end games in this genre, the walking speed is absolutely dreadful and unjustifiably so. It takes maybe 35 minutes to get the regular ending, only because you are walking much slower than you can read (could be a 15-minute game). Most of the environment is blocked off with 2 invisible walls, so you can't explore and enjoy the scenery. Believe it or not, there is one thing that I like about this title - it actually has multiple endings. I only found 3 but I think it has at least 4. There are different paths you can take to get a different ending, a good idea but poorly executed. Trying to find those hidden endings and achievements could be fun if the walking speed was not so awful.
Pros:
+ multiple endings / a few secrets
Cons:
- mouse cursor stays on the screen
- generic narrative
- not particularly immersive, could use voice acting
- kinda dull in terms of psychological effects
- dreadful walking speed
- maps feel kinda random (not complementing the story)
Overall Thoughts: 3/10
There are some walking simulators that are very fun, but this game represents everything that could go wrong in this genre. I was absolutely bored out of my mind playing it. Just as a constructive advice for anyone that makes these - if you not making a game with gameplay, find a way to keep the player engaged. Maybe you need to do more psychological effects, or maybe you need to find a better way to tell your story. Walking around a generic 3D map with walls of texts is not artistic, you have to be a little more creative than that.
