Lol! I just read the recent reviews of the game and YES it crashes at the beginning of the bonus game. I was planning to write a good review because I really enjoyed the story, the artwork and the unique puzzles but seconds into the bonus game it crashes. This is a broken game and you shouldn't buy it.

Twilight Phenomena: The Incredible Shows is the third entry in the Twilight Phenomena series. The game starts with your character meeting up with her sister at the circus. After she participates in a ringmaster's performance, she disappears and it is up to you to find her in a demented circus. In case you didn't know, this game isn't the sequel to the first two, but does share one theme with it; people being combined with animals and becoming mutants, of which your sister is the newest attraction. So what can you expect in this game? It is a combination of Point and Click elements as well as Hidden Object Scenes. The HOS parts are pretty easy, though you will do them multiple times. If you can't find anything, there is also a handy Hint system to help you out. This game also sports a mechanic that if you don't want to do the HOS part, it will switch to a mini-game where you must align masks of the same type in a square to find an item. To be honest, I preferred the HOS part myself, but others may like this instead. It also comes with a regular assortment of puzzles, and if you played any HOG before, then you will no doubt recognize them. However, if it becomes too tedious, there is a skip feature. What was nice in this game is that you can customize just how hard or easy you want it. Additionally, you can customize the hint/skip times to as short as 10 seconds which will allow you to follow the story if the puzzles, etc. aren't your thing. The game doesn't support Steam Achievements, though there are some in game achievements which really don't amount to much. However, there are certainly some negatives to this game. The first is that you will do a lot of backtracking. You expect this in an HOG, but it honestly felt excessive here. There was no fast travel option, but you could go from screen to screen fairly quickly. Finally, if you beat the game, it opens up a bonus story/game. However, it bugged out for me every time I tried to play it. I couldn't tell you why, and there wasn't any fix. So would I recommend it buying it? I am about 50-50 on giving it a yes. The story itself is fine, and the option to change the difficulty is great. However, the fact that the bonus game was bugged for me, almost made me say no. The only reason I didn't is that I know sometimes these bugs can just be something on one person's PC and not another. Considering I was able to finish the main game, though, this struck me as very odd. If you do buy it, I recommend waiting until it is available during a Steam sale (once again, heavily influenced by the bonus game breaking on me).
