This agem is amazing. Handcrafted from one individual. I love the art style, and the mechanices are pretty good. And the developer actually responds to issues and solves them quite fast. It also has a intersing story so far. Although its in alhpa so ther eisnt much to do but it is growing. So far its about 6 hours of gameplay. Super excited to see whats in store for the future of this game.

Edited: The game is still as I remember it! A few changes to the early gameplay. Still a bit buggy, but it's not totally gamebreaking. Navigating with the boat is something you have to get used to. Pre-release (still early access): This game might seem childish and really cartoony. But I must say I'm impressed by the work ONE man has put into it. Join in on the fun before there are guides everywhere on the web. You might search a while to complete some quests, but that's whats fun about it. If you are looking for a hack and slash game, this is not for you. Im happy I bought the game, and I'm looking forward to see how the game is going to evolve!

Ho boy just realised i must have failed to make a review for this piece of crap, or did it get deleted. Regardless DON'T BUY THIS GAME. it doesn't really seem apparent from the other reviews, the pictures, the video, the awards and the developer talking in the updates. but this game isn't just unfinished, its unfinished to an extant which is completely shameless! if you still buy this game do the community a service and remember to post a negative review.

Had to refund. Controls awkward, the pet gets in your way and the minute I got to the actual "game" where I was told I could explore, I opened the map and of course, the game froze. Had to alt F4 the game, losing all my progress. This is an ongoing problem since January. So, very nearly a full year of one very game breaking bug. This isn't a game. It's lacking optimization. This is an EA game at best. The last straw was the dev begging people to buy the game during the steam sale. That's super tacky and terrible if you feel that begging people to buy your game when it doesn't even work properly is just garbage. I have very nearly 500 games in my library. I love indie games and little hidden gems. I'm sure the gameplay is fun "when you get into it" but sadly, this isn't an option. Refunded.

I love this game. There are the obvious reasons like the artstyle, first person gameplay and exploration aspect. But what I especially like is the whimsical storyline and discovering items while completing tasks and quests. It's not a grind game, it's a mind game. It's a relaxing, beautiful journey of exploration with a language all it's own. I also like that while there are dangerous creatures there can be alternatives to killing. EONIA is like becoming engrossed in a good book and losing track of time. The crazy thing is EVERYTHING is created by just one person. Very impressive.

- control are awkward - no option disable motion blur to avoid motion sickness, options that do exist like adjusting UI to gamepad controls didn't do anything... - it looks like you can go anywhere, but really it's a one way path where if you try to go off track, the annoying pet blocks your way - I stopped playing when I got stuck between the pet and a locked door

This game is beautiful, charming and relaxing. The story is very interesting. You are a cat-like creature, you can jump from high places and hate water. You wake up on your 15th birthday, everybody is gone and you need to find out what happened. The game rewards you if you are observant and explore every corner of the map. At the moment only the first map is available and few primary quests can be completed, but a big content update is planned in few weeks. For an early alpha it is very polished, controls are very good. The developer is one of the nicest people here on steam. I definitely recommend this game 10/10.

I've never seen anything like it and I'm a big gamer that hates killing as a main objective and fast paced games but this game has a perfectly adjustable pace (with a few ecseptions) This game was an ok price at $5 and increasing to mabey 10-15 ish. The game is also developing at a good pace because it's not just a free time kind of deal for the dev. With this game I get stuck a lot, shure but I get unstuck just as much which is why it's so enjoyable

I've had this game for a few years, and every time I play it something goes wrong and my save file gets erased, or the game crashes before I can get out of the tutorial. I finally redownloaded the game and gave it a 4th try to see if the game is finally worth playing. Here's my thoughts: == Pros == ++Graphics are beautiful - the colors are rich and the environments are interesting to look at. ++A lot of exploration (once you get past the tutorial). ++Many different animals/plants to discover. ++Relaxing soundtrack == Cons == --The tutorial is very slow and linear - you can't go off and explore (or even save) until you get through the 30-45 minute tutorial (and yes, it can take this long when things don't work properly and there's a thousand extra steps to learn everything). --You can't swim? If you touch water at all you instantly "die" and respawn elsewhere. There's no warning about this until you actually try and go through the water the first time and the protagonist mentions his "fear of water" - what is this bs lmao? --One of the plants I tried discovering killed me instantly in Master Endio's tower? Not sure if that's supposed to happen. --Whenever you "die" you spend about 20 seconds with a debuff that won't let you move. --I hate how the game pushes the "take your time" and "don't rush" approach. --Grammatical errors make reading unbearable in some parts, especially when you're reading important dialogue and quest information. --The protagonist has very little character development. --Don't think there's any voice acting, or at least none that I've seen. --The UI is very uninspired and the menus are pretty weird looking and an eyesore to navigate. This is as far as I've gotten before I shut the game off, just because it is not very interesting at all. IMHO - There's nothing captivating about the game, other than the graphics, and the gameplay elements are just...not enticing enough to continue further.

For a single developer Geometrics Bytes has created a fascinating world of features to entertain you for hours. A lot of work went into this project and more to come. Pros: Music, sound effects, graphics, complexity of crafting, exploring, building, and repairing are wonderful. Lots of creatures, places to explore already in the game but a NOTE: some areas are not finished or you need to complete a quest to open them. Cons: Most of the people you're sent to visit have left only leaving you notes. It would be nice to eventually see characters to interact with an not only a living breathing world, but filled with NPC's as well. The game does feel linear but its because you have to open each quest stage to advance to new areas. Some of the quests need a bit more clarity and there are some bugs where I've had to do the quest more than once to complete it. Bottom line: I think this is a great project and not an asset flip. Development will take time as this is only one developer doing all the work. I look forward to progressing with the developer and development, and if you like early access, and getting involved in indie development projects, that are active, you will too.
