Got it from sale for 0.41€, and i can say for that price its fine, youre not gonna play it more than hour probably but good to have in librarty for casual plays when you need waste some time. AI is kinda op but its a luck game so you can win like 40% of the time. Reccomend 6/10

Grid-based “battleship” games originated in the 1930s under various names, and are not protected under copyright, though Battleship is protected intellectual property. Pick it up on sale there's not much to do in it (no multiplayer).

It quite a very short game, you can get all achievements in like less than an hour (maybe except the one where you have to win with 1 ship remaining) I don't really understand why you can't place ships near each other, as the classic battleship rules allows that This makes the game somewhat easier strangely, since locating enemy ships is easier as you know they wont be near each other. In 10 games i did, all with random placements, i won 9/10, which is oddly high for a chance based game You also can't save your formations, so you have to either manually set your ships every game, or settle for auto I also don't understand the 1x1 square ship, the smallest ship in the classic battleship is a 2x1 , the only reason i can think of that this 1x1 exists is to inflate the already short game time Game also advertises you can multiplayer, but I don't see the option to multiplayer anywhere If there was a Neutral recommendation option, I would pick that for this product Would rate this game 6/10. Not really worth the full price. it's a good time waster if you want to do something while waiting for another game but there is a better version on the Android Play Store (Fleet Battle) go play that instead, they have a skin and rank system and an active multiplayer

Royal Battleships - just a simple Battleship, such as you know it and how we all love it. Nice and beautiful interface, you do not have to use more than one mouse button. You will be pleased to spend a couple of evenings relaxing in the game.

For 55c a near Battleship old-style Table Top recreation. Very little in the way of functionality, but it does accomplish the task readily. Rounds go very quick. Ofc the computer 'knows' where your pieces are, but I get no feeling it is any luckier than you or I. I've not noticed how effective it is in 2nd volley's. I think with reasonable assessment we(as humans) could make our 2 shots count so well. A little deduction can go a long way. Again for fifty-five cents, it wasn't a bad investment.

Your AI opponent does the same. Then you dish it out, trying to sink his ships before he sinks yours. [h1]How does it perform?[/h1] Very easy to play. This is quite the standard Battleship fare, except for the fact that the ships are smaller. It is an uncomplicated game that will easily kill time with its short duration. You only need your mouse to play, the settings are easy to change, there are no bugs that I could see. [h1]The good points:[/h1] Simple, relaxing and inexpensive game. Easy achievements to get, in fact, you can get get all of them for only a half-hour play time. The game will run on a potato PC or a toaster. Takes less than a 100 MB of space on your HD. [h1]The bad points:[/h1] You really must love games like Battleship to enjoy this game, because there are no twists to it, except for the smaller size of ships, which helps prolong the short duration of each gameplay. Placement of ships is limited, the game prohibits you from placing ships close to each other. AI is not that good, you will quickly notice that you tend to win more often than not. [h1]My take on this:[/h1] If you like a cheap and relaxing game, this is it. Buy this game when it is for sale, which happens from time to time. I wouldn't buy it at full price, but can recommend it when at a serious discount.

No multiplayer, that's the only thing I wanted. I wanted to 1v1 my mates and I couldn't. Feelsbad.

You can place your ships or have the game place them. Both ways worked just fine. Your shoot and the AI shoots immediately after your shot. [b]EDIT[/b] [strike]Game will infrequently 'not respond' and require using task manager to close program. It's, for me, a little annoyance for a lot of fun.[/strike] Dev patched the game. No more freezes and High Score updates correctly. Huzzah! /[b]EDIT[/b] Battleship, Royal or otherwise, is great fun and time killer. 3 cheers and Splice the Main Brace. Recommended.

Once the computer player hits your ship, it knows where every hit point is. It never makes a mistake. This makes it no fun to play. No replies from the developer to posted questions. Crash on early version was fixed. Just pass on this one and save the aggrivation.
