This is the one.
Forgotten Sanctum is the only Deadfire DLC worth your time and money; and while the small square footage of its traversable environment may dissapoint, the sheer density of interesting things and lore packed into it makes it well worth it.
Just be careful with the books you're reading; you're not dealing with an unreliable narrator, you're dealing with an actively malicious one.

Definitely the best DLC, lots of lore, cool locations, couple powerful items, even few pets, also mechanically unique battles - which actually can be quite difficult.
If you liked the base game/other DLCs there is no reason not to get this one as well.

This DLC is great, tough battles and great story, bring Aloth, Fassina and Ydwin along for flavour.
Concelhaut's Skull and NEMNOK have some dialogue too.
PS you can give Concelhaut a new body.
That lasts.

This DLC would be fun if not a little boss-heavy for my tastes, but what absolutely killed it for me was the regularity of the game breaking bugs during boss fights. The bosses in this DLC are fairly tanky and take my party a decent amount of time to kill (to the tune of 20-40 minutes each), and for two of the four(?) I've encountered so far, I had to reload an older save right at the end of the encounter.
The first time, the end turn button stopped working and there was no way to finish the fight. The second time, an enemy became stunned and untargetable and even though the fight had ended and I had real-time control of my party again I couldn't save or leave the room. Maybe these are all turn based mode bugs, but I hadn't experienced either of them in the other 50 hours I had been playing the main game.

Even though it has almost as much content as beast of winter i didnt like this dlc that much since the enemies are a little annoying especially the last boss but it felt great beating it because of that :) it adds some lore about animancy etc into the game but not as much lore as beast of winter added.
Buy if you play the game for the first time but not worth it if you want to go back to the game if you already finished the gane.

Incredible expansion that adds a huge new area, new lore, and tons of new gameplay. The setting (kind of like SCP set in the Pillars universe) is gorgeous and completely different from anything in the rest of the game while still feeling like 100% part of the world. If you like POE or even CRPGs in general, don't miss this DLC.

This may be a controversial opinion, but I feel this DLC surpasses the main game in most aspects-- from dungeon design to character writing to sheer atmosphere and more-- and I even feel it could stand on its own as a bite-sized dungeon crawler game with a bit more padding. Inspired by classic D&D modules such as the Tomb of Horror, the Forgotten Sanctum takes on a much darker and much stranger tone than the rest of the game, and I loved it. Finishing this one felt like stumbling sweaty and disoriented into daylight after hours in a dark movie theatre. Every twist and turn, every secret uncovered felt like descending further into the maw of a waiting beast with no rope to lead you out or torch to light your way forward, but with too much foolish curiosity to turn back. An incredible experience.

So before you buy this, it's noteworthy that there is a bug that hasn't been fixed since release which is that your game will freeze after a certain egg hatch and entering Temple of Relevation. If you use Iron Man mode and encounter this your save is basicly ruined and since it's end game content it will come at you twice this hard. Everything I've seen so far was great with superb Lovecraftian vibes but since I can't continue in anyway this one gets the thumbs down.

This DLC is clearly the best of the three. Interesting story, Multiple boss fights, and loot that is well worth the price of admission. It was a fun ride. Don't forget to bring your mind resist potions.
Cons -
It's short
For the love of god stop disintegrating my party members
