Just finished this and being one of Asuta Konno's work, i wanted to see what kind of story we would get so i have a better impression when i go into the other works like If My Heart Had Wings and A Sky Full Of Stars. Synopsis: The Ogasawara Islands is designated as a natural World Heritage Site. Hiroki visited the island for the first time in four years to help with his grandmother’s shop during summer vacation. He met the beautiful blonde girl Emily on the boat ride to the island. She had run away from home to retrieve a ‘treasure which had sank into the sea’. He reacquainted with his childhood friend, Chisa on the island and she told him that there was a sunken ghost ship. It is said that the treasure which Emily was looking for was aboard this sunken ship. He couldn’t leave a scuba diving novice like Emily alone and Chisa didn’t want to miss out on the fun, so they ended up searching for the treasure together. What i like: The concept of adventure was pretty nice, i liked the main heroines and Emily's development was really solid, her route specifically was really well done and gave them some conflict that sells me more on her character. Chisa was very fun to be aorund in the common route and the diving asepct of it was interesting. What i dislike: While not particularly bad, i did feel that Chisa's route had much more of a rough start and while i did understand that it tried to show how developing relationships can ruin existing ones, i did kinda feel bad for Hiro when Chisa keeps rejecting him and not playing along with the date, so the beginning was not enjoyable. Main narrative was quite simple and not too in depth so nothing much to be explored and it was quite a short length story. Production/Quality of Work: Super solid, liked the whole tips section that contextualise certain foreign aspects of japan and its culture, cgs were solid and the diving animation was a nice touch to make you immersed, and feel like you are diving with the characters. Overall, for the length of it and its cheap price, it was a really solid read and while not particularly top tier, it's still a good recommendation, considering it's still Asuta Konno. 7/10
