It's a good game, slighty diferent from the first but fun too. I hope they'll put the formers teams; the dwarf, the tribe, team fortress...

The game has 3 unique races and a plethora of neutral cards to enhance your decks. Each race has a variety of racial abilities to choose from. Up to two racial abilities can be chosen. The deck size is 30. There is no consequence to overdrawing from the deck like in other games. The fatigue is instead implemented by giving a direct damage spell every round after 12.
Every turn grants 5 mana. The max mana amount is 10. The amount of mana per turn and cap can change depending on what cards are in play.
The maximum hand size is 5. Cards are drawn until the hand is completely filled every turn. This means that card draw is never a problem for any deck. 1 card can also be discarded for a draw every turn.
The balance between the races/decks is very poor. Currently one race is extremely weak, one race is in a good spot, and one race is extremely overpowered.
There is a very wide variety of decks. No cards are extremely OP or game ending. There are no OTKs either. There are combos, but they need to be set up and planned. There is plenty of hard removal and ae removal along with a lot of interesting creatures with synergies between them. There are also a variety of themes that can overlap with each other to make a pretty dynamic deck.
Your health is split up among several crystals on the board. There are several boards each with their own configuration. You are given 24 health. A player can deploy one row up once any one crystal is destroyed.
Ranged units can't attack anything right next to them. This means that they can't return attacks when hit by melee.
I'd rate it as recommended or a very diverse landscape of decks. We can only hope that future balance patches will improve the meta as decks become feasible.

This is my first steam game review and I thought it was neccessary for this game. For a seemingly simple strategy board game this game packs a lot of punch.
Firstly the pros:
-Game looks beautiful, graphics are great and the effects look really great!
-Cross platform: Play on PC, Phone, tablet all under the same account..I love this! (Phone and tablet version free, PC version costs money but gives you way more value in terms of unlocking cards etc...worth it!)
-Strategy!!!! I love this game because of the hundreds of decks you can build. The more you play the more strategies you uncover which is something that I love!
-Overall, great game and I highly recommend for beginners to deck building games and for experienced players.
Cons:
-Rewards system could be better...It takes quite some time to unlock legendary cards. I wish there were more ways to earn rewards apart from just dueling (after you beat the campaign) and waiting ever 4hours for a chest. It'd be better if it was similar to clash royale for this.
-Explanation of cards. I wish cards had a bit more of an explanation. Every once and a while you learn a new dynamic of how two cards work together. (The campaign helps for the basics and some) but every once and a while I learn that two cards don't work together....takes a while to get the hang of it....part of playing and learning i guess...not too big a deal!
Overall, I highly recommend this...since buying it I have loved customizing decks to make a perfect deck...Highly recommend...one that will be a perfect game for short sprints or long hauls.

Strategy??? Oh Yes, when you have all legendary cards but how to do that if even there is no daily mission? The only way to get card in this game is Bank Card, if not, you have to spend years to get the strategy of the game!
Summery: This game was created to get money!

Was taken out of early access and stated as final so they could abandon the game.
For a pvp based f2p game, that has in game purchases and zero support updates or content updates from the developer after going "Final".
Can't and won't reccomend this game to anyone.
Nor would i advise anyone ever give Robot entertainment any money for any of their new games if there are ever any untill they have been final are still supported after being moved out of Early access.

I love turn based tactical games. Latesly Ive played everything from duelyst, to Tactical monsters, hearthstone and a bunch of others. I like this new hero academy the most. The graphics are great. I can play on my phone or on steam, both interlinked. Lots of cards. Never crashes. Lots of single player campaign stuff to do.
GET THIS GAME if you love turn based tactical.
