I bought this DLC in 2018 and I tried installing and unstalling the DLC. The problem is it won't work so can you fix it please?

It showed up without Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 installed (I already owned it so it wasn't much risk) but I did have other Lego games installed so it might have just worked because of one of them.
That said it's just added skins for the main characters, no new characters no new power combos for the custom characters.

Lego Incredibles' Parr Family Vacation has been a rather spotty DLC if the "Mostly Negative" reviews are anything to go by. People have had issues with the game even recognising the fact the player has this pack to give out the additional characters/skins.
So what do you get? Well you get the Parr family (including Jack Jack before the little one can even be unlocked via story) and Frozone all in beach vacation wear. A very casual spin on the adored Pixar superhero family.
I'd give this a 50/50 review if Steam had the option just for the chance you won't be able to access these characters for some ungodly known reason (may require a DLC unlocker on your PC if you happen to not get them). However I was able to and I like what I had gotten. Some fun designs, early playable Jack Jack, all fine to me.

I adore the base game. It's a lot of fun. But for whatever reason, this DLC refuses to function, and I'm not the only one this has happened to. Some people have suggested buying another Lego game like Marvel Super Heroes 2 to "unlock" the DLC here, but this hasn't worked for me. There's no other legal way to get this DLC to show up unless you're super lucky. Pun not intended.
What I don't understand is how this character pack works COMPLETELY FINE on consoles, at least the Switch version anyway. So what's the deal with this version? Given that WB Games hasn't responded to my direct email or support ticket, we might not get a proper fix. Please don't waste your money on this. I know it's only two dollars, but if you're paying two dollars for a character pack, you should probably get the character pack and not just get... you know, nothing.
UPDATE 7/29/2022: Got a response from WB Games, but given how old this game is and the fact that two completely different people responded to my emails, there may not be any kind of fix. And I have no idea if the main devs will be able to do something about it. So it's ultimately down to you. If you're feeling lucky, go for it. I can't force you to do anything, only strongly recommend against buying the DLC here on Steam.

DLC Doesn't work without third party tools. Biggest Scam on steam. $1.99 for some downloaded files that add nothing to the game, and it's likely past the point that the devs care enough to fix it.

If you purchase and install Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, by some reason the DLC "unlocks". This might be annoying (buying another game to "fix" a DLC), but if you are willing to buy Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, do it. "Kill two birds with one stone"

Can confirm what an earlier poster stated below - it seems that purchasing and installing Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 seems to 'fix' the DLC of Lego Incredibles.

(original comment) In common with a large number of commenting users, I'm unable to see the DLC content in-game. I've tried restarting, logging out and in, rebooting, verifying the integrity of the main game to no avail.
Can't recommend this if I can't play it...
UPDATE – I tried every legal tip I could find to make this DLC work. Suddenly in Jan 2020 it started working after I’d purchased Lego Worlds and Lego Marvel Superheroes 2. It could be there’s something in those games which ‘repairs’ the DLC mechanism or just that the original game has been fixed. YMMV.
Now I know the DLC is purely cosmetic... new family (and Lucius) skins; no new gameplay or abilities. Still no thumbs up from me.

Despite a lengthy conversation with Warner Brothers customer support basically establishing they don't know how I can access this content, Steam still won't refund this because I played the main game for over two hours despite the fact that I have enjoyed the DLC for exactly 0 hours. I want a refund now.
