This third entry in the Witches' Legacy series is the worst yet. The story continues, but the characters are all vastly different from even the 2nd game, despite having the same names. But that in itself doesn't make a game bad: this one has a cheesy, infuriatingly bad story, and point-and-click puzzles that make almost no sense at all. The hidden-object scenes and puzzle mini-games are entirely generic. They are adequate, I'll give them that. Bottom line: just below mediocre.

Direct sequel to Lair of the Witch Queen, Lynn is readjusting nicely, and uses her powers for good. Too bad the Witch Hunters don’t care about that. Now you have to rescue Lynn from them. While, of course, making sure not to attract the attention of any darker forces. The plot is engaging, the HO scenes fun, and the minigames challenging. Get in the bundle.

I love the story and it has great twists and turns. The map is very useful and well-made. Pros: + Puzzles and hidden object scenes. + Ending of the story. + Bonus chapter.

The series would be fine, reasonable although often repeated puzzles and somewhat too many hidden object puzzles if it weren't for the inane cackling. Why does a witch have to sound like a deranged hen?

Another excellent game in this series. The first game is a little clunky and a smidge dated, but it's still got a lot going for it. Games two (Lair of Witch Queen) and three (Hunter and Hunted) are some of the best I've played recently in terms of length, consistency, variety, and overall interest. TL;DR 9.5/10 Pros: - lots of HO scenes - plenty of puzzles (tending to easier, but definitely some challenges) - collectables are neither too hard nor too easy to find - a mature, competent protagonist - appropriate amount of back and forth across map; not too linear (gives some sense of free action, whether true or not), but map allows for fast travel when necessary - very good writing with few errors - works smoothly - lovely artwork - good voice acting Cons - the music is good, but only plays from time to time and then die out; I don't know if this is just me (my computer), or a deliberate choice by the developers, or a genuine glitch - not exactly a *game* con, but I do wish there were Steam achievements and cards, not just in-game achievements (this is now standard for all Big Fish games, I assume because Steam made cards and achievements too frustrating or expensive for devs) Definitely worth adding to your collection.
