As far as roller coaster vr things go, this is more or less excellent. By the time I had my VR legs roller coaster games didn't really do anything for me, which is unfortunate because, they should be able to, but they just don't grab me like their supposed to, and are often bad.
There is a bad Oculus GO roller coaster demo called Luna Park as well, but it's not spooky themed.

Basically a phone app VR ride. Terrible visuals as well. Nothing scary about it.

Coasters in VR is a personal genre favourite of mine, but Lunapark VR is just about the worst I've encountered. Primarily due to ridiculously low resolution, the like of which I've never seen on any other game on my WMR Samsung Odyssey+. This is simply not good enough, and worse than your average smartphone VR app, Furthermore the scale is way off on just about everything, except strangely the track. The cart is far too large, along with most of the artefacts, skeletons etc. Shame in some ways, as the concept of the ride is not that bad with some nice touches, but the execution is visually extremely poor. Even at the discounted sale price of 42 pence, cannot recommend this ride.

So a bunch of people say this game is well scripted but has bad resolution. I'm not having any issues with the resolution. I default my super sampling at 150% and the experience looks sharp like how a VR experience should at that supersampling level. Remember to open your SteamVR menu and press "recenter seated position" after starting the game. Scripted events are great and I enjoyed my time with this VR coaster. Also framerate runs at 90fps.

I give this a solid "meh". A 3-5 out of 10.
The game is far too low resolution to be engaging and the misuse of the skeleton assets are more laughable than frightening.
It's perfect for children and people for little tolerance for scares.
It's a game that would really benefit from having a guy trapped in space with a few robots commenting on it while playing.

This is not the best VR collercoaster ride. It is better than average and by almost default, it is the best HORROR VR rollercoaster ride. The ride is about 4 minutes long and has various scenarios during the ride. You don't need your motion controllers, you start ride by gaze operation. You never see your hands during the ride or your avatar.
You are placed in the middle of the small rickety coaster. You're alone but have room for 4. You start out in the rain outside and it's very dark. That is probably my biggest complaint that the game is too dark in certain areas to even enjoy the textures or scenery. I wish you had been given a flashlight. Despite that the ride is interesting and has some speed at times and loop de loops. You get nice scenery as well: detailed theme horror park, including flying creatures (although not the best animations), falling debris, and clowns (well, decorations of clowns).
You then go inside through a corridor with several skeletons, bats, and spiders. The spiders are the clear winners here as they have the best graphical detail and animations. You then go back outside and out of control. I won't give away the ending, but the ending is the BEST part of the whole experience. Very unique ending that just felt right.
I got this on sale for $1.79 and can easily recommend given the normal price of $1.99, given what you are getting. Not the highest quality graphics or animations, not the best ride, and the sounds could be a lot better. However, it is the best horror ride (not that it has much competition as I am not counting Ghost Town Mine Ride & Shooting Gallery as that game is much more than a coaster ride).
Rating 6/10. Recommended for VR rollercoaster fans like me.

Pros: Well scripted events, extremely smooth coaster ride, great price.
Cons: Way below cell phone-quality resolution. It looks maybe 320x180 - This makes no sense at all.
Conclusion: Request a refund.

Kinda hard to even say it's a mediocre roller coaster experience when it places you about 6ft above the actual seat. I figured maybe it was because you were supposed to start standing and then sit down as it starts, but no, I was still way higher than the seat. I've never experienced this with any other VR title. It's shoddy coding at best. The only upside is it didn't give me motion sickness like some other games do.

Lunapark VR is the perfect example of a unique roller coaster experience that's completely ruined by unfathomable bad quality. It's a horror coaster, filled with spooky creatures and unexpected events; it's all very well scripted and all in all it's a fun ride that lasts about 4 minutes. However, it's extremely hard to get past a visual quality and resolution that's less than what your standard cellphone or webcam has to offer.
When you take a look through MMEU's other offerings, it's clear that they have a history of creating subpar games. Lunapark VR is absolutely no exception. If you're looking for a horror roller coaster, you'd be better off to check out Coaster of Carnage. It's in Early Access, but the developer is committed to taking the feedback from the community and incorporating it into the game through various updates.
