Why?

great game i love the map but the game for each wave it a repeat over and over again

My instincts and experience tells me that this is a quickly patched together bunch of purchased assets with only a desire to make a quick buck... But I could be, and I hope that I am wrong. Because what we have is a visually pleasing forest map with floating clouds, trees blowing in the wind, and nice background sounds of wind, birds chirping above, and crickets. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxcH_lQqP2s&feature=youtu.be Right now, by far the biggest problem with this game is unchallenging and boring combat that is about as lack luster as it gets. The enemies presently offer ZERO challenge barely scratching you even if you stand right in front of them and take everything they got. With a little more work, I feel like this game could be a pretty good bang for the low price tag. Time will reveal to us if this is actually a product built with a passion to make a fun game.. or if it is just merely another low effort patched together assets cash grab. If I was a betting man, I'd bet on the latter, but maybe the devs will make it a mission to prove me wrong! My Score in the above video is a 63%, mostly helped by offering a pleasanty surprising world compared to my expectations going in. If price wasn't considered, this game would be about a 3 out of 10 right now. I CANNOT recommend this, despite the nice looking world or map they use here. If the devs prove me wrong and make the combat actually challenging and fun, and add in some a loot searching system or loot/resource drops from the mobs, I'll definitely give this a look in the future and re-evaluate it.

Really nice environment visuals make up for a fairly generic wave-based shooter with some tech issues. All trees and roughly half the bushes shift in the wind, and ambient forest audio makes this feel more like a walking sim than a shooter. Enemy character models are nice but often repeated as there's not a large selection of them - three shoot fireballs and energy bolts though which is pretty neat. The procedural environments aren't truly procedural, as they loop around you meaning you'll encounter dropped loot from previously killed enemies but no bodies. Weapon drops are fairly hard to find, but usually located in or near points of interest worth exploring like abandoned gas stations and even a crashed UFO. Apart from the venus flytraps, none of the enemies attempt flanking and instead either just run straight at you or slightly off center. While this makes Bloody Faerie quicker to complete, it also cheapens the overall feel of the game. Horse-based enemies, especially the pegasus, tend to zip across open spaces and then vanish into thin air. You can save your progress, but will need to kill the game with Ctrl Alt Del when you wish to quit. Despite the issues, I still recommend Bloody Faerie if your game library's lacking in cheap shooters and this is 50% or greater off. Of course if you own piles of budget FPS titles, there are better ways to waste your cash.
