Even lazier than Nazi Shoot, the developer's other game. Explore a completely featureless "Jungle". Shoot some bad guys. This sucks. https://youtu.be/F8a8R8wuAWk

SHORT All there is to do is wander around aimlessly looking for harmless hostiles to put down (and for weapons to pick up). That's it, that's the whole of the game. Just wander in circles waiting for enemies to spawn and shooting them when you find them, while they can't hurt you. DRAMATIC You wander a lush jungle, sparsely laden with trees and overflowing with mist, blocking your view to a measure of meters in any given direction and concealing from you the landscape, weapon pick-ups and your nefarious enemies, the trash hoodlums. Sometimes trash hoodlums spawn in the air, sometimes they see you and fire their damage-free weapons that will not harm you at all. They assail you with flurries of rapid shots that might as well be blanks, or maybe are blanks. So, you wander in this place, undying and un-damageable, if you search the outline of the forest you can find your way into a vast prairie that leads to the edge of the world, where you cannot fall to your death. There are (at least) eight satisfying weapons in this game, each one comes with a lifetime supply of ammunition when you pick it up. They have working reload animations, iron sights and firing mechanics. They'd really make for a great load-out in any exciting first person shooter, and in this game you get to have them in a casual stroll through a grassy park full of bandits armed with sidearms. Your satisfying arsenal includes 1 pistol 2 shotguns 3 assault rifles 2 sniper rifles (If there's anything else, I didn't find it... which may have happened) I really, honestly, enjoy the arsenal in this game, and the way the guns are designed really, really strikes me as fun and enjoyable. I liked the specifics of their handling, the aiming mechanics, the uses of lining down the sights and the ratio of shots fired for each weapon in order to successfully kill a single opponent. Also, headshots do count for something in this game. OVERALL The fun hour straight I had playing this game, just to get a session of over 250 kills to make sure I'd be judging the game fairly, was sometimes spent wishing I wasn't playing this game. It's cheap, glitchy, awkward and slow-paced. There's no reason to have adrenaline in any of the shots and the landscape gets old fast. The opponents, in my opinion, spawn too slowly and there's too much down time of just wandering the area with an insignificant field of view. I don't hate the game, but I'm guessing from what it's like to play it that plenty of players *would* hate this game, so I'm recommending against buying it.
Warning: GameGuru Asset Flip! JungleShoot is a what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" bought the GameGuru first person shooter construction kit (no coding required, it's just a GUI!) and cobbled out a map or two using stock GameGuru assets... nothing in this game can fully be called the creation of the developer, and yet they also failed to credit GameGuru or acknowlegde any of the GameGuru assets. They're trying (badly) to pass someone else's work as their own.
JungleShoot is just a bunch of random GameGuru assets dropped around a really lazy, stock textured GameGuru map template. There's a "jungle" theme but that just means some of the drag'n'dropped assets are jungle-ish assets. This is really lazy even for a GameGuru asset flip with just an arena to shoot the same enemy type. It's bad, it's real bad. This asset flip is so badly done it's using a basic GameGuru launch screen with no "options" page... and let's be clear, GameGuru is a completely godawful construction kit. If you try to take it seriously as a game, you'll find no resolution or graphics tweaks, no controller tweaks... it's horribly optimised and will be sluggish even on high end rigs. You can make the argument that GameGuru exists to just make demos and little experimental games to pass around with friends, but that's not what's happened here... the developer is seriously trying to scam people into paying money for this construction kit copy+paste asset flip. That's not okay! These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? JungleShoot is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
