Game won't start anymore. :(

When I was 7 years old my grand mother knew I was a star wars fan and spent most of my time playing pc games so she gifted me this for christmas of 2003... It was a CD Rom for my windows 98 pc that back in the day had a tremendously powerful single core 633mhz processor that could go to 800mhz with the turbo button and 64mb of ram. I remember the game taking ages to load into a race and how happy I was that 25th of December. Few months ago my grandma passed away, and we had move all the stuff from her home to my parents house. Between those things, there it was, the old windows 98 pc with the yellowish old case, a set of speakers that barely work, mouse keyboard and a pile of old games, starwars phantom mence, sega genesis emulator, sims 1, and ofcourse Star wars racer... I tried getting the game to work on that pc just for old memories but it was crashing on startup so I said what the heck, lets check steam and without skipping a beat I bought it, installed it, added a fix for the windows 11 crash and got into the championship mode. I wasn't giving it any big thoughts, gameplay felt nostalgic, it was fun, I was 7 again. Then I heard it "Its a new lap record", I had to pause the game, suddenly my mind was filled to the brim of memories, me tearing apart the wrapping paper, opening the cd tray, grandma standing behind me and smiling knowing I was a happy grandson at the moment. I was 7 again...

With a little modification of the resolution, its a fun racing game.
