Adds one new avatar skin (android) two new enemy ships (Romulan and Borg) and a couple of extra ongoing mission types and...that's pretty much it? (Oh, and Operations instead of Engineering when on the TNG Enterprise). It's ok but doesn't feel like a LOT of new content.

Just a first impressions review from playing 2 missions. It seems okay. It hasn't been terribly well described.
It's not really more missions as in the first 5 missions you played. Ubisoft has tried to make more types of ongoing missions, and it's only in the ongoing missions where you can play the TNG enterprise, which is all you'll want to do as far as the DLC goes.
The operations seat has not completely replaced engineering in the game; only in these TNG ongoing voyagers missions. You have to be playing the new ship to play operations, which seems a shame, because it's the best part of the DLC. I liked Engineering before but now it's a lot more complicated, in a good way.
Ultimately it's worth the price. The borg missions are a bit messy but still pretty cool; they feel like borg fights. The layout of the TNG enterprise is a bit questionable, but it fits the show, so what can you do? The issue is that you can't really turn to other crew members very easily - everyone's in front/behind each other except for operations and helm, I mean, flight control.

"Prepare a warp course to the Malkev Colony"
"Aye Sir, preparing for warp"
"Engage..."
Always been a dream of mine to be the captain of the Federation Starship Enterprise, now with this dlc, my dreams have (almost) come true.
Some issues I have with this, not saying you should not buy, is that the Galaxy Class Starship, allows almost a fully 360 degree firing arc, but we are limited to only 180.
Some things I would love to be added, as an update or dlc is:
1) Saucer seperation. Could be used in a battle to draw enemies away from the primary hull to allow crew and families to get to safety.
2) Some sort of walking mechanic. It seems logical because (as seen in the show) Picard has a habit of walking forward to engage warp.
3) More functionality in the displays on the Captains chair and the ops/flight stations, allow the pilot to see what an anomaly is, whether it is safe to fly through.

I oh so truly wanted to like this. I'm a TNG fan. Now, sitting on the bridge and all of that was a very amazing nerd moment. As far as the gameplay goes...it's not a very good experience compared to the main game. A lot less is done with the VR, it feels like a desktop port I'm playing in a VR headset.
If you want to wander the Enterprise in VR, find a place to download Stage9, it's a remarkably better experience.

Note: There is no campaign, only a new ship and new coop adventures.
This is a great DLC - TNG Enterprise looks great, with new controls and mechanics to master. Plus you can make little crew members run around if you're in charge of operations. Best part of the whole game.

The Enterprise-D is the ship I grew up with and playing the new game modes: Hunting Romulan Warbirds and facing off against the Borg are a ton of fun. These new modes add difficulty and depth and reward those of us who've spent some time ironing out teamwork and communication and give us missions that can't be beat any other way. I just hope Ubisoft keeps developing DLCs and adding more and more to this fun game.

You have no idea how much I want to like this... when I first got this game, I spent the entire time wanting it to be TNG, to interact with all the officers like before (like in Birdge Commander)... so you can immagine my eagerness for the TNG DLC.
Unfortunately...
This DLC suffered horrendously from developer shortcuts, and rush to cash in on the TNG franchise. Instead of the TNG bridge "CREW", you get 4 nearly completely non-interactive TNG-uniform models with poorly synched voice-overs, a "generic" bridge 1-click interaction, and to replace all the other interactions you get an LCARS tablet... which correct me if I'm wrong, was NEVER used in ANY of the 178 episodes or movies as a tool for the Captain to issue orders or review the situation from the Captain's Chair of the Bridge... . Massive dissapointment - feels like an android game or a early alpha with a clumsy placeholder for actual bridge crew interaction...
Do not buy at full price. Get it on sale, if you can accept these extreme limitations.

I tested this just now and it is really amazing! Looking forward for more ship content. I will have more time to enjoy the TNG DLC during my day offs coming soon. I thought there was only the "burst fire" mode when the phasers are being fired from the Enterprise-D. I'm glad I found out that the subsystem targeting has the familiar beam firing effect that I'm looking for.
I have no other issues with the DLC except perhaps the consoles have been re-designed and not stayed faithful to the television series but I know it had to be done so not to confuse other players. But the rest is accurately re-created. Well done!
Though I had to wait for almost 2 months to get this DLC. But still great job that this is a stable Unity-made game in non-VR mode. I only do solo-play and I don't have a VR system yet because its really expensive.

Completely blown away. This is TNG in the flesh. For existing bridge crew fans, this is the extra challenge you've been waiting for. The new Operations station finally gives engineering a serious challenge, and the romulan ships put up a serious fight. I've had a blast being destroyed by the borg several times.
I'd have paid $30 for this easily.
