Warning: Asset Flip!

Blackjack In Space is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. It's important to also note the "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. Most notably the developer here took a stock Unity blackjack game and married it to the TK Astronaut Unity Asset Store asset from the real developer, TK-Games.
The blackjack proportion of the game is terrible, too, there's plenty of decent assets the "developer" could have stolen instead. This lacks basic blackjack features like splits and so on... even if you so desperately wanted to pay money for the kind of blackjack game that you can play for free in a web browser, this one isn't the one to buy.
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
The game contains stock/store assets and other packages, but the "developer" here hasn't credited the people who actually did the work for the game. While this isn't necessarily against the license for the use of those assets, claiming the work of others as your own is highly unethical. Gamers should be made aware when a developer behaves unethically, as buying games from unethical developers puts the gamers money at risk.
Blackjack In Space is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.

In space, no one can hear you scream "hit me"
A good game for the price. It might be missing some features, but if you are wanting something simple to chill with, this is it.

Only recommended for those wanting a perfect game. Spent almost an hour for a good reminder on why I never go to casinos.

This is a simple Blackjack game. It is bare bones and simply a game to get closest to 21 without going over. I say that because it is without many of the usual Blackjack rules (splitting, double down, etc...). However, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I am a sucker for anything space themed and board games in general. This game is just that - Blackjack in Space. It is relaxing with an amazing atmosphere and mood. Ideal for unwinding at the end of the day or when you're just not in the mood for shooters.
The odds in the game seem to be stacked in your favour. I'm not even sure what happens when you lose your money because I've been winning 95% of the hands. The house rules in this game state that your opponent (computer AI) must hit below 16 and stay with anything above 17 and above, so it is stacked in your favour. If you are an achievement hunter you will have no problem getting all of these in under 10 minutes. Blackjack (21) comes around very frequent and many times straight off the deal.
I purchased this game for $0.59 when it was on sale from the steam store and I am not disappointed. While this isn't a full Blackjack game, if you enjoy space & simple card/board games I would definitely recommend this.

This game is clearly meant to be a .50 game that gives you achievements for playing a low effort, bare bones blackjack game.
I agree with others that are stating there is weird timing with the dealing.
There is nothing here to warrant any reason to stick around and keep playing after you get the achievements, but if you are here for the achievements, it's not a bad few minutes

Blackjack In Space is ok as a game (just ok, not much more).
The game is pretty straight-foward - you play Blackjack, or 21, against the computer (which is represented as a spaceman).
You start the game with $500, and bet on your hand to increase your winnings.
If you happen to run out of money, you can click on a button to get $100 for free, and then start betting again.
The player has to bet before he receives any cards at all, which I thought was a bit odd - but, then again, I've never played Blackjack in a casino, so what would I know?
I would have preferred to bet on the cards I received, or at least on the first card.
When his cards are dealt, the spaceman waves his arms about (which reaches about 0.5/10 on the amusement scale), but after watching him do it a hundred times, it gets rather old (maybe about 1.5/10 on the annoyance scale).
The card dealing can be a bit slow too; I would have preferred it to be much faster.
However, it's a cheap space-themed card game - so what can you expect for $1.99?
Mind you, I got it on sale for 49 cents - it would be worth about that, but not much more.
Play it for a short while for a bit of card game amusement, and then throw it away.
I'll give Blackjack In Space a score of 5.5/10 - it just scrapes through to get a thumbs-up, in consideration of its price-to-entertainment ratio.
If you're really into Blackjack, you could play it for many hours a day for the rest of your life (which would be value for money), but I would imagine that most people wouldn't play it for too long.
Buy it if you want an hour's entertainment, but don't expect much - except for a basic card game, with a somewhat annoying spaceman.

JDRumble gambling games are bad. Poorly coded/optimised, lacking the full betting options of their real-life counterparts, stay away!

Blackjack In Space it's a cheap but really nice game.
The soundtrack is calming and nice, graphics are not bad and overall the game is great.
You can get the achievements in 5 minutes, it's really easy. Easy perfect game.
Too bad it doesn't have multiplayer, it would have been better.
It was worth it for the 0,40€. You should buy it.

Graphics are ok and the gameplay is pretty smooth, however, it's missing 2 essential pieces of blackjack.
There is no doubling or splitting! (Which makes grinding to $10K an extra pain) As far as I'm aware, these are pretty standard rules for blackjack which should be incorporated into the game.
