Two years have passed since Cursed Island. That poacher escaped… but now he’s back, trying to resurrect a Jaguar God. Since one of the first things he does is to curse your partner Gregory (who might also be a love interest; unclear), you really want to stop him. And that’s before you find out how dangerous this plot could be to the world…
HO scenes are fun, the plot is engaging, and the minigames are well-done. Get the bundle as the three Mayan Prophecies games are a continuous story.

The third in the Mayan Prophecies collection, and although it isn't the best chapter, it's still a good HOPA game. I liked the first entry in the series best in terms of setting and story. The protagonist is made of the usual stern heroine material, and her side-kick Gregory has my sympathy for having the worst luck across all chapters!
This means a moderately coherent story, lots of HO scenes and puzzles, and collectables on every page. I'd give this entry a 9/10 for having all the usual fun stuff *plus* reasonably interesting puzzles.
- lots of HO scenes, using both shapes and word lists
- lots of puzzles, ranging from easy to moderate challenge
- fully interactive map (does not show missed collectables)
- fully integrated Guide (very handy and easy to follow)
- limited, but decent voice acting
- nice art
- a few places where HOPA "logic" makes you shake your head, but better than many!
I recommend this series as a whole, especially if you get the bundle and play them in order. Definitely worth adding to your HOPA library!
