I love this game, it's a lot of fun! It's very funny, a lot of black humor. It's a mix of different genres (open world, third person shooter, stealth, platforming, RPG upgrades) and it works very well together. I haven't played the Playstation original yet, but I'm very impressed with this new game.

What a delight. So much fun and so comedic. Just as I remember it playing on ps2/ps3 when I was a kid growing up. Brings smiles and laughs. Well worth it.

Crypto and Pox are the show stealers of this game. If the gameplay won't grab you the story sure as hell will. So much fun and replayability.

classic dumb game, graphics are a little weird and those goddamn races can go straight to hell though.

What more could a man say that hasn't been said about this game already?
It's a timeless classic, and speaks to a simpler time. Get it on a sale and you won't be disappointed.
It's an excellent time waster, and a great introduction to gaming for kids if you have them.

As an OG PS2 player I am disappointed in many of the changes made. This is not a "faithful" remake as stated on the store page. This is not "1:1".
I disapprove of the character models, animations, colors, anal probe, voicelines, PK bubble, and most of all (the funnest part) the physics.
Such a shame. If they just used the same everything from the PS2 version and added higher framerates, resolutions and longer draw distance and textures I wouldve been happy.
Luckily there is a "classic mod" available that fixes some of these issues. So hats off to that man for doing the lords work. Still, it doesnt fix everything which is a shame.
Its still a good game, and with this formula to work off of theres pretty much no chance of failure. The original was such a masterpiece.

Recommend for the nostalgia, because it is quite literally the same game with the same missions and all. They made the game a bit too easy though with their QoL improvements. Overall it's an excellent port, but gets old quickly.

This is a game that plays well on your nostalgia. I had a good time with it, but good lord the final fight is one of the worst things I've ever seen in gaming. I'd say it's an 8/10, but the ending knocks it down to 7/10 for me. Arbitrarily invincible enemies with huge health bars are not fun when the fight takes 20 minutes with no checkpoints.

For some reason the game doesn't let me change the resolution, it automaticly sets it to 4k because I have 4k monitor but my pc can't run this game in 4k resolution. Tried verifying the game files but it doesn't have any effect.

this is a pretty faithful remaster of a classic game from the mid 2000s. it wasn't some revolutionary/groundbreaking game at the time but it was a lot of fun, and that's what this is delivering, just more of that silliness that made the original so beloved. the visual overhaul definitely makes everything feel a LOT more polished. the graphics are obviously better, and everything feels a lot more modern in terms of controls and gameplay. the game luckily doesn't run for 20+ hours under any circumstances, as a 100% playthrough should take you 15 or so hours at most. even at this length, it can feel repetitive, as i was feeling it more toward the end. overall, this is a amazing remaster of a classic PS2 game.
