Survive in Angaria Reviews

Be warned, this is a turn-based game. Not saying it's necessarily bad, but someone has to set up the big red flag. I would suggest everyone to try a free fan game called Doraemon: Nobita's Biohazard, which has a better combat system(real-time), and it is probably created by the same RPG Maker series as this game.

This price can be said to be the best game you can get, it will be much better if it is developed further.

Craft a poison bow, buy hat&shield&cloth armor and find your way. That's fu**n so enjoyable.. Musics great.

Great game! Probably will be picking up the sequel the next time I have free time. Definitely scratched that old rpg itch. A bit on the short side but not like the price is outrageous for the couple hours of fun.

The game has potential but it's largely unfinished and lackluster. - Farming consist of finding or buying seeds for lettuce or turnip, you plant, you water and since there's no day/night cycle you can immediately harvest afterward. Very boring. - Quest are horrendous, no quest log to keep track of them and they're nothing more than fetch quest with 0 story. Reward are often underwhelming compared to the money spent to get it done. - Combat is non-existent you just keep spamming the attack button until the enemy die, might as well not be turn-based when there's so little strategy. - Leveling is useless, don't know why it's even in the game. - Enemies are inconsistent, the zombies sprites change from overworld to combat mode randomly. For example you start combat against a pink long haired zombie but the sprite in combat is that of a blue short haired one. The "bosses" are straight out of a completely different universe nothing to do with zombies, why did i had to suddenly fight a goblin, a minotaurus and a ninja ? Also why are their sprites gigantic and in a completely different design from the rest of the game ? - Fishing was a joke, i didn't had to move the arrow at all and i'd still catch the fish. Very poor attempt at a mini-game. - I got a pickaxe supposedly for gathering minerals, but i've seen no mineral to gather. - Gold is hard to come since there's no mobs respawn so buying "high grades" weapon is very unlikely. - Crafting will only ever be useful for bandages because the weapons are not worth making since the materials need to be bought from merchants rather than gathered/dropped. All the zombies i've killed only ever dropped cloth and rotten eyes. - I got some quest items twice, what's the point in that ? I had finished the letter quest yet a random zombie in the sewer also dropped a letter that wasn't needed for any other quest, same with the egg, same with the skull. - Bed doesn't regenerate HP, only save data, this is a terrible idea. Overall a game made by someone who scrapped around sprites from other games or from a free library of models. Put features in without much thought and called it a day. Is it worth it's price ? I'd say no because it's a waste of time to play this game.

I thought because there was one hidden achievement for this game, that there would ultimately be an end goal. I discovered after completing all fetch quests, defeating all Zombies, and oddly placed Bosses that there was nothing all the random tasks culminated into.

It's an indie game which is you can craft, you can loot and you can fight zombies. It's kind of survival game and I feel like a playing farming game also. You have to fight in dungeons for explore new cities and weapons! It's first game for Cloaz Studio but it's fun. Worth to buy! Graphics : 6/10 Sounds : 8/10 Playability : 7/10

Good game but there's only 1 fcking achievement and nobody can get it, it's freaking broken

The game is vastly incomplete. no mobs respawn. basicly a 4 hour grind to kill all the mobs then walk around aimlessly.

It's sort of a cute little game. You can tell it's a first try by a very small studio but there is some heart in it. Honestly it's not too fun but I bought it for $1.69 so i don't mind. There are some bad translations in the text but you can understand enough of what they mean and not everything is intuitive...still not sure what I am doing with the fishing I think you want to use the arrow keys to keep the cursor in the green area...either way you get items called fish so it doesn't matter what you catch. The fighting reminds me of old school final fantasy except there is no info on the zombies so you can never know what their HP is and just hope that if you keep attacking they will die before you. Then eat enough turnips or lettuce until you have more hP. I wish them success in their game!
