You can be gay for less than a dollar. That's like, a little over the price for a can of soda from a vending machine. Well worth the price, I'd say.

I have enjoyed my time with this game. It's sort of bitter sweet, because this VN is actually a lot of fun, but it DESPERATELY needs more polish. It needs some tlc. It needs someone who actually cares to take the time to iron out the kinks, which is what you do when you actually care about and believe in a project. There's a great game here that never quite received the love that it deserved from the people that birthed it. And, just on the off chance that you care about such things, it would have made the devs a lot more money if the love had been given. You get out what you put in. You reap what you sow. Do better.

Can you even call this a game when it is played out within an hour? And by playing out, I mean the game bugged and restarted for some reason and I got pretty much fired because no people would come through the gate, met the elf chick twice, maried her twice... eh.. yeah this is a waste of money and time... even though its cheap AF

Bought this game with the spare change I had because I didn't know what to spend it on, honestly it's pretty good visually and the voice acting is good for a $1.50 AUD game, I like how each characters has their own accents. Good repeatability and the achievements you can get them quite quickly by saving a lot. I would recommend this if you set your expectation down and want a casual visual novel, the plot is very simple there's not much to it. The only con for me is that you can't date the monk or the witch.

A very amateurish visual novel, whose only claim to fame will be voice acting (not very good VA, but VA nonetheless). I've completed the game three different ways in 37 minutes, that should really tell you all you need to know.

Quite a silly little game and, by silly I mean "We know each other for two days now and we're stuck in a cave during rain so let's have sex, because I love you!" type of silliness, and, by little I mean that I've completed it first time in 19 minutes, while reading everything. Yet this game has it's charm, it's fully voiced, which was quite the surprise for me and it is quite funny too. So, especially considering price, I'd say that it's worth a look at least.

I don't consider myself a connoisseur of the romantic visual novel sub-genre by any means, but I will say that Border of her Heart has going for it a particularly interesting and as far as I'm aware unique concept that places you in the role of a border security guard deciding who to let in to town and who to turn away. Your decisions in that regard impact what events happen and which characters you can potentially romance. In short this is a romantic visual novel with legitimate and compelling choices and though short has more than enough replay value to justify the $1.00 price. Its an interesting idea, a shame its currently feeling like an unfinished game. You cant save the game before choices, and after less then a hour i have learned i cant load my save files. As far as the game goes, it is an interesting story, but the choices seems to random, only a couple real choices. Its pretty clear this is rookie attempt at a VN game, for its price its defintly worth checking out as i would not call it bad. But it defintly need some patching before i would call it good.I hope to change my review to positive after a update or two.

The plague mentioned in this game causes everyone to be unable to speak proper english and have horrible grammar and spelling issues. Also you can't wife the witch lady, what the hell? Why would you include a witch lady with big tiddy and you can't date her? I'm into GUYS and I still think its messed up man. At least it was only a dollar, I got pegged by an Elf mommy gf and got a boyfriend. For a dollar that ain't that bad. Some people pay $60 for a game and get neither of those things.

Art: 7/10 (Quite good considering the asking price) Grammar: 7/10 (Not over the top but very much comprehensive) Length: 8/10 (Very short, but fair given the asking price) VA: 6/10 (Some of the voices come off as awkward. But across the board it's pleasant)' Routes: 8/10 (Short and sweet, but rather good. Was quite surprised by it) Waifu: 9,000/10 (Healer is bae) Final Verdict: Nice and short, given the price, is a good VN that is comprehensive and enjoyable. Would recommend to those who just want to enjoy a very simple VN. Side Note: In its current state it still has some tedious bugs that make it less enjoyable.
