A pretty short rogue-lite game, yet still fun, challenging and, most importantly, cute.

Abyss Crawlers plus is a very solid rogue-like platformer with good controls, sufficient challenge and some well designed long term progression elements that can give the game a sort of "push your luck" engagement that you don't often see from other rogue-likes.
In addition the visual design is well done and the setting is quite compelling and intriguing, even justifying some game mechanics.

This game is a gem and shows how strong the japanese indie pc scene is. Seriously, skip a fast food meal and pick this game up. So. good. Only complaint comes with some not-so-great translations but easily forgivable.

This is a platform roguelike gaming being combined with a sword and gun with a 4-way directional shooting. Paths are randomly generating and must be completed by finding a key all while in everything in barely lit. Enemies are extremely difficult to handle at first because they usually are the ones that come to you not the other way and it is nice and a bit terrifying experience. Some even take more damage depending on which weapon you use. However, it is more difficult when more than 2 are coming after as then you’re fighting off melee enemies while being attacked by ranged enemies and if you’re in a tunnel then good luck to you on that.

Mega cute art style with fun, solid gameplay hooks make this a pretty lovely doujin game. Though I wish there was an R18 patch to bring back the ero content. The english is a little wonky at some places, but it shouldn't hold you back from having a fun, crawling time.

It a good game, it really worth about 10 dollars on steam or double it in whatever currency you use, in my opinion. The developer also makes the best update posts for example, "I picked up items while riding a robot. Anyways, it's a fun game worth its price. And currently, the developer will likely be giving a bunch of one content small updates every other day it appears. It likely the consist of AI movement, retexturing, and better english translation(hopefully, I am assuming as this isn't the dev's native language).
In addition, if this game gets steam profile backgrounds, it will look so pretty :3
Short Reason
Nope. You could easily find a similar game for free that has more effort put into it.
More importantly, my game kept crashing, which is extremely unusual since I have an i7 core processor and Geforce GTX 970m.
Long Reason
First off, everytime I kept trying to run the game, my computer would freeze up then the game would crash. Which sucked in general. When I was able to ACTUALLY run the game. It immediately throws lore and a cutscene in your face. Not necessarily a bad thing mind you, however you can't control the speed of the cut scene AT ALL. So I tried reading and it just flew on by.
Once I finally got around to playing the game, I realized that the english translations may have... escaped them a little. Or rather, a lot. The sentences were structured awkwardly and a lot of words were either used unncessarily or incorrectly. But, I can get over that... so I thought. After only 25min of gameplay, a good 5min of me trying to run the game, all the dialogue went down hill. It's like they didn't even try to write the game.
In actual gameplay. It's clunky and weightless.

I have a love hate relationship for this game.
I don't think it is great for beginners. Its just very difficult. I've died more then 200 times and I still haven't won the game. I am stuck at the final boss.
My breaking point was when I was fighting the final boss the first time. I was doing so well. I couldn't find the portal that would end the game, i searched the whole map and killed all the minions. I was breaking through the walls hoping for maybe a missing room. NO PORTAL
Most of the glitches i encounter are in the bosses. Tons of times the portal doesn't show up after you defeat them and their minions, so you have to teleport back to base and grind again to fight that boss.
The monster mechanics are pretty bs at times. I'm referring to the "ghostly" ones that sometimes touch you before you can touch them, that sucks.
The monsters are randomly generated and if you are unlucky, as soon as you spawn a bunch of monsters just come in and kill you immediately, especially if you do not have a bomb to try to save yourself.
Sometimes monsters die in these spikes and there is no way to retrieve your loot unless you have a robot.
Its just too easy to die!!!
This game is insanely frustrating and if you like that, this is a game for you.
I love the design though. The unique death animations and the plot is nice. I feel these are the things that got me to play all the way to the final boss.

An exciting, fairly simple game. It's scary, exploring a random map with limited visibility when encounters with monsters (who can see further than you) can go south very quickly. The story has a bleak feeling: In a post-apocalyptic future an aging scientist deep underground has vats containing endless clones of his (supposed) daughter, which he sends out to try to reach the surface; when one clone dies he sends in the next, and that one can loot the previous one's corpse if she finds it.
Through some awful grinding you can gradually increase your attack power, but max HP is locked at a Zelda-style three hearts for almost the whole game. You never get to feel OP and the dungeon never feels comfy.
