Tommyknockers is an abandoned Early Access first person "platespinner" style game where you must guard a bowl of golden nuggets (well this game certainly is a bowl of something) from "Tommyknockers", (this name bears the copyright from 1987, Come First Printing/Stephen King) and this game infringes said trademark and copyright. To date, no legal action has been taken against the developer, to my knowledge, however due to the legal liability held by the "developer", this may be subject to change... the first of many reasons never to buy this.
The game was abandoned immediately after launch and hasn't been updated in 5 years. It blew past the developers commitment to complete the game without any notification or admission of failure from the developer. The game will never be completed. Furthering the unethical nature of this developer, while they are selling this incomplete game under Valve's failed Early Access program, they're abusing that program, and not working on this game full time, as they have other projects in the works. That means there's ZERO confidence anyone who buys this in Early Access will receive a complete game, and it's possible that they're being scammed.
The graphics in the game are poor and some seem like they might be stolen/unattributed stock assets.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
Tommyknockers is overpriced at $2 USD, and it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.

While I will not make any certain judgements; as the game is in early acesses, I would say for the price to give it a shot! Overall, it was a fun game, but I felt like the concept got kinda old after awhile. It was a bit of a challenge and I hope whoever decides to play it does better than I did lol.

I can't recommend the game in it's current state because it's just really frustrating. You can hit 20 of these things with rocks and they just keep coming, and coming, and coming. I don't understand how you're supposed to be able to beat this or even guard the gold for very long. It's basically like Boogeyman but with more movement. I just didn't care for it. Some people may actually like it but it's not for me.
