Pretty fun and well crafted shoot 'em up. Having a car actually adds a quite a bit of visual variety as you feel the need to orient your vehicle appropriately. Though it appears your hitbox remains in the center. Minor bullet hell/ danmaku patterns for the most part and a simple but satisfying enough upgrade system. I definitely can recommend for the price point!

Fun at a good price (especially if you catch it on sale.) There are many difficulties so you should be able to complete it at any skill level.

The beginning for this MAD MAN on Steam! Like a review I've read said, everything from this dev = Buy on sight.

Intense, high octane indie that punishes you in a good way. A fine mix between tight mechanics and cheesy dialogue. If you enjoy indie bullethells with personality, Road Doom won't disappoint! Highly recommended.

Fun little shmup! Controls good, nice soundtrack, and chunky colorful sprites. You can get upgrades for your ship and there's there's a boss rush mode too. Not really a bullet hell shmup so it's good for the novice/advanced players like me, although there are 5 difficulties which is always a plus. Good set of achievements too.

I rarely played these games growing up so this was intense as hell for me. Loving it so far, just defeated
Mothership
boss and my heart was pumping. Definitely worth it!

I had fun, it feels good, some enemies and mechanics are out of tune in my view. It's cute as heck and silly. I think some patterns are way too easy, and the shot reflection is not exactly a great mechanic for a shmup in its current form, but it's a good mix of difficulty and accessibility, and I'm sure it can provide enough challenge if you seek it (no upgrades etc)

Its a pretty awesome game. For 4 bucks you get a bullet shooter with some sweet tunes, a boss rush mode, and an ultra difficulty that literally laughs in your face. The actual difficulty isn't to hard, and you will find yourself with maybe only an hour or two of content at most. However the game is a hidden gem in the Bullet Shooter genre. The upgrades will make you feel empowered and actually feel like they are impacting the game with every boss defeated. The overload of objects on the screen means you either learn how to dodge or die trying. And the music for each stage is pretty decent as well. And its just overall a pretty great bullet shooter. Is there a story? Yes. Is the story important? Not at all. (Forgive me haha) However anyone who plays these games in this genre wont mind that as long as the gameplay is good. And the gameplay excels for its price. 4 bucks and you got yourself an awesome game. And to make it even harder, which I still haven't achieved, you can try HAHAHAHA Mode with no upgrades haha. Makes you prioritize your positioning like your life depended on it. Absolutely recommend and if you want a small clip of what the game will have in store for you, check out this link of us playing it on stream. https://youtu.be/nJ8dm0V8slQ

A beginners bullet hell game. I am far from a great player when it comes to this genre, I rarely beat games but I enjoy playing a lot of entries in the genre none the less. I beat this game on the medium setting (which is the "intended" way to play it according to the game itself) on my first try, and I didn't even lose a life until the final boss stage. My playtime as of writing this (1.2 hours) is me beating the full game on medium and playing through the first of three worlds on the highest difficulty, which does indeed make it a lot harder... but still easier than a lot of other bullet hell games. The gameplay is fun although you unlock the full roster of upgrades a bit too quickly (or perhaps the roster should be bigger?) A lot of aspects of the game are a bit amateurish, but it's all quite charming and gameplay is king in this genre and the gameplay is good.
