Player with my brother and actually liked the puzzle mechanics of this game. We didn't get too far, but it is a nice 2 player co-op game.

There's really nothing else like this game. It plays great and is a lot of fun to play co-op. If you're hesitant to try this game, I'd recommend downloading the demo to give it a try.

I've played this with a friend last night (on his account) and decided to get the game.
Normally, I can't stand puzzle games, but we had a good fun for about five hours, which I think is reasonable at this price point. Afterwards, I bought it for myself. You never know when somebody might stop by spontaneously and you want to have something to play together. This is ideal for that sort of situation.
Whether you like puzzles or not, this is an enjoyable experience with friends, and if/when you really want to beat a level, you can play on your own just as well.

Very well designed! a lot of different challenges using only two mechanisms (and standard platforming).
Mind melting yet not unfair and completely doable!
Play coop if you want to test your communication skills, single if you want to test your motor skills. Both ways are fun and you'll have to think your way through.
It's puzzles though, so having a second go will kind of defeat the purpose.
It's a bit on the short side but now that the price is free, you should definitely try it.

Absolutely fantastic puzzle game, with gorgeous art and sound design to boot. I could feel my brain both getting smoother and wrinkling at the same time.

What a great game!
DYO is a puzzle platformer with an emphasis on the "puzzle" part, making it more similar to Braid than games like Limbo. If you're looking for a complex story line, you might want to look elsewhere.
What you will get however, are great puzzle mechanics that build up over time. The game gets hard, but never makes you feel overwhelmed. I was lucky enough to play it in local coop with a friend, but I think the game would also be a lot of fun as a single-player experience.
I am not surprised at all that it won several awards. For a game of this quality and level of polish, the price is very much justified.

Amazing little gem of a puzzler. Super clever & fun core-mechanic and beautifully designed levels. Do yourself a favor and give this game a try, it's well worth the 10 bucks.

So I was looking for something new and unique and found this gem.
The gameplay is very basic at first, just lead the minotaus to the exit gates. But every few levels new game mechanics are introduced, thus increasing the difficulty of this great puzzler. So far I really like the great art style and gameplay of this product.
The only gripe I have is that playing solo I sometimes mix up which minotaur I'm currently piloting with, ending with hilarious results. But this is probably just me being an old man ;).
Keep up the great work guys, glad this game was made!

My theory on why this game has so few reviews is that most people would have to admit that, like me, they were too stupid to wrap their head around DYO's core mechanics. The idea is so cool and fun, probably even more so if you're not a dumb dumb like me.

DYO is a well-designed cooperative puzzle platformer which creates several unique mechanics based on the concept of the "split" in splitscreen actually having gameplay consequences. Give it a try!
