A scrappy little story about a powerful warrior getting caught up in a seedy little town in the middle of nowhere.
That is a great set-up for an engaging AVN about Makina, and her ever-present struggle to prevent losing herself to the city. What a great allegory for so many different stories, and it works really well in this outing, which utilizes RPGM. Mechanically, Makina plays like a typical RPG, with stats, leveling, and loot. If you focused just on that, the game itself will be very straight-forward, and borderline, a simple experience. But that's not why you are here reading a review for it, right?
I will assure you that your little (big) guy will have a great time with this, with different paths to follow, a solid cast of characters, and different endings too. I'm sure if you came for this exact experience, you will probably get it and more so.
