Awesome game concept! Great feedback for the pickups although it would be nice to be able to turn off feedback once you've caught on. I really like the time slow (left trigger) effect when the going gets tough.
I will definitely be spending time playing this to climb up the leader board and would definitely recommend it.

Shatter EVERYTHING isn't a game of complexity - you'll be jumping right in and playing; that isn't too say there isn't enough challenge. You'll be making a surprising number of complex tatical choices while using your agility to better the global high scores. Is your competative this is absolutely a game for you. After 2 hours in; I'm still striving for that high score!

Fun and nice tronish vector graphics. Amazing in 120hz on Quest 2 / Virtual Desktop.

If you're looking for that butthole clenching feeling when you narrowly escape swarms of enemies (Geometry wars) in VR, then you've come to the right place.
I've tried a couple other VR games like "Xortex" (The Lab) and "MSI Electric City: Core Assault" however, they don't seem to translate the formula very well due to clumsy single handed control schemes. Shatter Everything however has a unique two handed control scheme where you control your ship at the tip of a rod with your left hand and control the direction of attack with a similar rod held by your right. It sounds weird but it works really well.
Just like Geometry wars; this game quickly gets challenging as you'll find yourself out of slow motion, desperately looking for a 'fire' power up to clean up the dozens of super aggressive enemies only a few minutes in.
Pros:
- Wide variety of balanced enemies / powerups
- Unique two-handed control scheme
- Weighty power-ups thanks to responsive force feedback
- Works well in seated mode thanks to the 'rods' that control the ship/attack direction
Cons:
- Lackluster graphics / assets (Missing that super neon feel from Geometry wars)
- Could use a couple more game modes for more replayability
This game is still in early-access so I expect things to change/improve in the future!
