Fun game, not to complex but enough to be enjoyable with a little strategy.

Great Game! Has cool themeing and provides plenty of challenge. Having different difficulty levels is great so everybody can have a level they can take on.

Transparency right up front - this was a refund for me. Usually indie games of this style would be my jam, but this has a ton of frustrating problems that made it not worth my time and I caution other buyers to make sure this is right for you - regardless of a great sale price.
While the soundtrack and art style are awesome, the game play leaves much to be desired and is something I would define as frustrating madness AT BEST. There's not a good tutorial here, and what exists fails to cover the vast majority of topics on not only how to play but how to succeed. The basics of this are that you have a base that auto spawns minions, with which you must destroy the opposing force. Combined with a major skill tree and other types of bugs, presumably you become adept at over running these enemies at some point. After two hours and attempting the 2nd level of world two 15+ times, I give the F$*K up.
I spent round after round tinkering with available skill sets to see if, perhaps this time, my bugs would a) listen b) not die immediately c) not get swarmed by the ever growing horde of humans. I read a few guides and suggested play styles, none of which were able to get me past these mechanics. Spore traps inconveniently draw large groups of distant enemies instead of attacking the enemies up close presently more threatening. Bugs listen a *bit* better if you max out the skill, but the still require excessive micro management - something that becomes even worse as levels develop in complexity. Enemies vastly out range you and outclass you, and one shot starting bugs regardless of stat points in armor. I played this on Standard difficulty, and while I could try the game on Easy - this is the stock experience presented and upon which I base these sentiments. This felt like a total chore to play.
Sadly this is a title that is not at all for me, and nothing close to an enjoyable game.

Price is a bit steep. If its on sale id say grab it for sure. Really enjoyable for bug lovers like myself.

Everyone makes fun of me for how much I like this game but they haven't tried it so it's their loss. I'm replaying it now because I'm hyped for Buggos 2.

Relaxing strategy game, easy to understand, not hard to master.
One of the core pros of this game is how easy it is to progress. Every mission gives you points, you can spend these points on evolutions. You can freely reset and respec your points allowing you a pretty straightforward progression with the ability to experiment, though I never needed to experiment in my own playthrough. The only absolutely vital upgrades are builders with bonus nutrient buildings.

a simplistic constant stream RTS. Graphics are nothing special, but the gameplay is fun. Commanding your bugs is janky, but I got used to it.
protip: sometimes your starting base position sucks. You don't have to stay there, you can can build more vital structures somewhere else

I like it for the most part, but there's one thing about it that made me quit
If you unlock new bugs, the cost of bugs go up
This is horrible as it incentivizes just picking one bug type and nothing else

Its good in how it works and plays out for a while
Yet, its really lacking in the late game where your power lies in how fast you can get out Titans and not die. Almost all the bugs hardly live more than a second—armor and health by single ticks become meaningless.

Very fun; not many games give you the feeling of being an endless swarm like this one does. Graphics and gameplay are pretty simple but they're good for what they're needed to be. You can easily tell what every unit does in the ocean of bugs and humans. Bug control is super simple as it's just put banner down and they'll take and hold the point until you move it. One down side though is that that while each bug has it's uses, a couple of them are just not needed. The Titan and Warrior are good tanks at maxed upgrades and a swarm 30, fully upgraded Titans are just the best; but they're expensive and tankiness all gets you so far campared to an endless swarm. Other than that, each bug is super fun to order around with Spinners dominating early game and Swarm Mothers being MVP towards the end being able to spawn 3 Swarmers every couple seconds for free. FOR THE SWARM!
