A wonderful adventure game! I spent so much of my childhood obsessed with this game (and the Titanic in general) that I can still mostly remember my optimal runthrough steps, lol. I had two physical copies of this game as a kid because I wore out the first pair of CDs, then I bought it on GOG and now on Steam. So I have played this game for MANY hours that aren't listed here.
However, it should be said that this game isn't really envisioned as a game so much as an interactive movie. There are a few documentaries about the making of this game on YouTube that provide some really interesting backstory and one of those is that tidbit, and the vision really shows. The game is more about interacting with the cast of characters, listening to their intrigues and solving puzzles--which tend to be just determining the location and optimal way to collect an item--while exploring a (rather limited) digital rendering of the Titanic. Can you fulfill your mission, save people, and save yourself before the ship sinks? The story is a time-traveling spy-thriller set on the Titanic with a historical backdrop leading up to the events that began World War I (and the Russian Revolution and WWII), and it is very engaging.
The graphics were heavily praised back in 1996 before James Cameron's film came out and LONG before the far superior and more accurate digital recreation for Titanic: Honor and Glory, so you may still hear some descriptions saying this game's presentation of the Titanic is "historically accurate," but it honestly isn't. It was impressive for 1996 but even back then, as a kid, I was still like, wait where is the A la Carte Restaurant? There shouldn't be a door here! Titanic's third officer was not named Morrow! and things like that. Just like Cameron's movie, they took a fair amount of creative license (and we really didn't know much about many locations on the Titanic back then anyway, like the cabin corridors, which would not have been that luxuriously appointed) and also mimicked a lot of locations from Titanic's older sister ship.
Still, despite the creative license taken, I would say the graphics still generally hold up. Even the "talking heads" for the cast of characters, I think, have aged better than some really early CGI cutscenes from the mid 90s or more entirely "realistic" games like the second Gabriel Knight game from Sierra (every time I see a screenshot from that game, I cringe).
I will also say that the acting is generally pretty good as well. Everyone is decently voice acted and I can't say there were any cringe moments besides maybe some slightly over-the-top accents on some characters.
Overall this is a very engaging and fun story to experience with some nice history woven in with fictional characters on a moderately-accurate representation of the Titanic. I believe the game only takes about 3-4-ish hours to complete, probably shorter if you know what you are doing and longer if you are going in blind or try to experience every conversation (characters do move locations every few "time skips" and present new interactions or conversations to overhear, and there are a couple of extra side quests and two different "Act 3" opening routes depending on how you ended "Act 2"--one route involves you having to bargain with the stowaway and the other involves you having to disarm a bomb, lol). Lots of fun to be had and a definite recommend whether you are a Titanic/history nerd or not!

Great game, with a great story and multiple outcomes. The nostalgia hits home as I played this title as a kid on my Windows 95 computer.

A good port and well worth the $6. You may need to adjust your GPU settings and lower the framerate, as it crashes often. Once you figure out your settings it should run better. Save often though.
