For me the Space Race alone made this a must have, it's really a case now of me getting to bring my work home with me, and then getting to do all the things that in real life might be frowned upon by my clients (Specifically aiming for solar domination) :P The performance improvements too are noticeable. Well worth the cash all in all.

I'm fairly critical of Eversim, but I feel like this may be the first DLC I can fairly say is an actual improvement of the game. I'm impressed. Don't get 2017, get this it has the features of 2017 plus bugfixes and new features. If they continue this trend, their game will be a very enjoyable geopolitical sim, honestly I actually find the game a little addicting now that they've fixed some of the problems.

I'm one of the most critical of Eversim on the steam forums and it's very well known they are all about the money. That being said, I have experienced some performance improvements which has been mentioned in previous reviews. There are some 'okay' new features such as the space race, but personally I'm not quite sure on the benefits of it... In regards to their cyber security, well, it's just another thing I have to manage in my opinion; though it's useful to rig elections in smaller countries. I'm not sure if there have been performance increases with the 'free' update everyone was meant to get, but there certainly has been in this. I still think Eversim are dodgy, all be it nice people when they actually talk to you (email). But overall, this does add some additional features as promised, even if they are a pain in the arse to manage. With all that being said, for once, I'm going to recommend this addon to P&R die hards, but not to those just purchasing the game for the first time.
