I wanted a game where I could ride a horse and just explore. Although the graphics are not very up to date it really did not matter because it was exactly what I was looking for. You get used to the horse controls after a while and as the horse levels up they get easier to handle. The wild horses around the world are hidden but easy enough to find when looking properly, although it would be nice to see more roaming animals there was wildlife around and it looked nice.
Likes:
Collecting all the horses both wild and from stables in the world.
The map was big enough to feel like you could explore freely.
The quests were good and interesting.
Special coins hidden around the world could be redeemed in the Home for rewards.
The saddles, bridles and blankets came in a few colours
You can buy items to change the horses hair colours.
Loved all the companion pets
Things that could be added or better:
A quest log
a better backpack system
A clearer way to see items in chests rather than one at a time
more colour variations for the tack
more backpack space.
A way to only have one pet following you (may have been a bug but they all followed even when their ball was put in a chest)
Although there are things that could be updated and made better I would recommend this game to anyone wanting a nice horse game, worth the money in my opinion and I have just seen that the second game is out in a few weeks so I will be buying that for sure.

This game is pretty good. The graphics are nice and the gameplay is good. My only two problems are that the graphics can cause lag so easily. When I put the graphics on Medium the game already starts to lag. I can only use Very Low or Low on this computer and I have a decently fast one. Also turning can be a bit slow and can make racing difficult.

i was excited to play a decent horse riding game. However, in its current state, this game is disappointing. The game glitches where if you get placed in a corner there is no way out without restarting. When riding, the controls are terrible because you depend upon the keyboard as your only movement controls. At game start, it would be nice to customize your character instead of copying from a mannequin. The toon does a weird head bobble which is unusual. The graphics are ok depending upon your graphics card, but could use an upgrade in the skills bar. This game has so much potential to be really good. I would consider playing again in the future once some of the issues are fixed.

Still some annoying bugs (mixed languages in menu, options to be chosen at every game start ...).
Some tasks to perform are a bit confusing.

Buyed for my daughter. She got really disappointed after playing for some hours and stopped playing it.
Main reasons:
- no advancement / stuck if you refuse to buy in game stuff
- very repetetive, becomes boring
- partly unrealistic physics. It's more like driving a bike than riding a horse
- there seems to be no way to give found / collected ressources like water or carrots to your horse. At least she didn't find a way to do so.
- it's still possible to get a horse stucked inside the ground, with no possibility to heal it. My daughter needed to restart the game from the beginning. Frustrating. It happend the third time now (within an overall playtime of less than 7hrs).
My daughter wouldn't buy it again.

A very interesting, enjoyable horse game!
I’ve played many horse games and am always on the lookout for new ones with different ideas. I’ve got to say this one really stands out to me, I’m very impressed. If you want a game where the horse and character animation and design are beautiful and perfect, then this is probably not the game for you. But if (like me) you want a horse game that includes unusual, interesting features (something a little different from the rest!) and an open world to explore freely, then you’d probably really enjoy this game. Let me go over some of the features:
World: Large and open, with some beautiful, detailed animations in it. Things like the plants moving in the breeze, leaves falling in the forests and the other little animals running around are nice touches. There is also a nice range of biomes: a large beach, some mountain like areas, and a lovely forest, with a village and some houses and farms to explore. Additionally, there is a day and night cycle and a choice to change the time by sleeping.
Quests: Plenty to keep you busy for a while. The dialogue is a little bit strange in English, but understandable.
Races/Steering mechanics: Steering has improved since Beta but can still be a little difficult. Levelling up your horse (or buying skills) does improve this a lot though. The races themselves are quite challenging, which was fine for me (I like a challenge), but perhaps not for people who like things easy.
Character customisation: Could be better, but hey, there’s a solution to this (see point of view). There is a fair amount of characters to choose from and it’s not just limited to one gender (unlike the many other horse games that only allow you to play as a girl). The animation of the character’s moving and jumping is a bit strange looking, though you get used to it after a while.
Horse customisation: No, there’s not a selection screen to pick and customize any of your horses. But you can choose your horse’s mane colour and change it as much as you want, either by finding or buying different colours. And by colours, I mean you can have bright green or blue if you want!
Music: Very relaxing background music, very appropriate.
Positive Features (a cut above many other horse games!):
Swimming: Most horse games have limits on your swimming abilities, either not allowing you to or limiting the time you can spend. On this game, as long as you’re on your horse, if there’s water then you can swim!
Point of view: The solution if you dislike your character! You can play entirely in first person and never have to look at the character! Unlike many other games in general which limit your point of view to only third person or first person, you get to choose by just pressing Tab!
Taming: Not many other “horse” games you can do this in (it is sometimes a side feature in some games from other genres). The system is not overly complicated, but finding the wild horses is a little trickier, as there are no marks on the map as to where they are.
Pets: The pets are very well animated, and not your normal household pets! I love the variety in them and that they can find/collect resources for you!
Cons of this game:
Horse care system: Not really a con in my case but, the horse care system is not very interactive. You simply buy the items and click on your horse to use them, there are no mini games for this.
Menu options: Unfortunately, there is no way to choose a 1) name for your character and 2) to have more than one profile. Not really a problem for me either.
Graphics: Yes, the world graphics are beautiful, but you do have to have a pretty beefy computer to run this game. I could only play on low graphics.
I definitely recommend this game. 9/10

Absolute Crap. This is the worst game ever. Controls are absolutely horrific. No control over where the horse goes (into buildings, half into buildings, up mountains, off mountains). This is awful

I wanted a game that I could ride around and look at pretty trees with. I suppose, to an extent, this game does do that. However, the animation for the people in the game is... Bad. The horses seem okay, but the riders slouch when they stand, and when they walk and run their head doesn't move. It's the creepiest way of running I've ever seen.
This game boasts different characters, and this is true. However you pick them by walking into a room where the clone body you will inhabit stands in a corner. After you select them you become their clone, but they stay in the corner. Again, that is just plain freaky.
All in all, this game gets a 4/10 from me. The heart is there, but for the money it doesn't deliver.

The game is glitchy, the controls feel unresponsive and the UI is not intuitive. The graphics are really bad with low framerate and bad motion blur. If you sometimes experience motion sickness from games, DO NOT BUY THIS! I had a headache within minutes :/
I really wanted it to be good, and I think the RPG/adventure approach have great potential... But this isn't it :/
