Burden Reviews

Will update after the day-one patch, but right now this isn't .. worthwhile? Or really even playable? There's clearly something there, but it's real hard to access when you can't get through the loading screens.

how anyone can give this steaming pile of dog droppings a positive review is beyond me, you couldn't pay me enough to recommend this to anyone, it's just horrible.

This is a very difficult game! Dark souls rest. Very Funny and interesting. But not enough animations and a bit silly NPCs. 7/10 for indie game.

*updated Review* 8-2-18 Game loads now but does need work. Need some more time in game but looks like it might turn out to be a solid game.

Don't buy this game unless it's heavily discounted...and even then I'm still not sure. Great concept but needs polished and a little buggy.

The game is not intuitive, has no guidance/tutorial on how to play, and requires resources that are so far away from camp that survival is difficult to impossible. The water and food drains quickly and the enemies are many with far advanced weapons than the starting character is able to defend against. So far it has been a total waste of money with no guidance published yet on the internet. There is also no option to try an easier setting until you learn how to play. I just keep dying in the first hour of play every time with no ability to figure out how to proceed. Returning this one.

This game is a big let down. The premise is great but it fails when you play. Just walk trying to find things, face many bad guys at random intervals. You can get wiped out by the first encounter so get used to restarting.

Well.. I thougt that it would be like 7 days to die and stuff, but Burden is much more deeper. I wanted to spend 5 minutes, just to take a look, but was sucked for an hour. It's dark,hardcore, intriguing.. The only thing I regeret about is that i'm going to spend more time playing Burden.

NPC interaction seems to be broken. Some just stand there and do nothing. Nifty hovering tutorial wording... too bad it never goes away, and tells you to pick stuff up that isn't there. Seems unfinished.

Probably the most challenging game you'll have in your library. Now, there is a tutorial, weapon, starting gear that will only last long enough for you to go out and replenish basic needs until one can stockpile. There are people (NPCs) wandering the desert, trying to survive...just like you.
