Overall, a legendary Popcap classic video game that pioneered the “Match 3” genre. The options menu is basic, there are several game modes including classic mode, the soundtrack is good, & there is a hints system.

i know its considered a mom game (and maybe that says more about me than id like to admit) but i think its genuinely a lot of fun if youre into the whole connect-lines-of-gems genre of games. this version integrates with steam so theres actual friends leaderboards which i did *not* expect to see in a game thats this old. theres 8 game modes total, 4 of them are unlocked right from the start, and the others you can unlock by playing the first 4. if you enjoy hunting for achievements this game is also going to be quite a challenge, so prepare yourself for that.
