Ah yes android 17 the loveable asshole brobot we all know and love. Hes hard to play and its kinda awkward considering how 18 has him help her for her attacks but if you want a chalanging well rounded charicter or are a fan of 17 its worth it.

A pretty unique character. He has a very interesting modular rekka system, with built-in low, overhead, barrier, and fake-out followups in any order you want. However, outside of the rekkas he doesn't have a lot. His normals aren't great, he has a good projectile but he needs to charge it first, he has a command jump that's like Riot Stamp without the stamp, and he's pretty reliant on assists to get a knockdown off of his optimal combos. However, he hits like a freight train, has little issue opening up opponents who respect his rekkas (and can call out opponents who don't for big damage), and has above-average mobility. Fun character, if not hard to use effectively.

Android 17 is one of the trickier characters to play in the game, his strong usage of Rekkas and heavy reliance on mixups an people not knowing the match-up will make you have an uphillbattle with most of the popular characters but completely doable. A17 definitely not a character you NEED to buy to enjoy the game at it's fullest but fun overall if you want a challenge.

Literally a handsome cool dude, a nature lover, ass-kicker and an anti-blocking machine. (Has this cool invincible barrier and his super is just an in game toxic laugh while putting his enemy to his feet)

I personally love 17, he has some very cool looking combos, his specials also are pretty wild and fun to see, he is pretty easy to combo with, either as a support character (because his special attack makes it very easy to combine in a chain) or as a main fighter. I am just starting with the game, he might not be the most recommendable character for online matches with mega pros, but I have fun using him and so far he is the only DLC character I REALLY wanted to buy, because the Android team is #1 to me.

Gotta say, Was looking most forward to 17 out of all the DLC characters announced for this season, though I have found him to be the most underwhelming so far. Not a bad character, but I was hoping for something a little more true the show - perhaps more barrier related attacks, some blue ki attacks, like the triple shot used on Jiren, and even bigger ki barrages. His fight mechanics aren't bad by any means, but I had hoped for more novelty attacks. Still recommend to big fans though.
