This is the strangest review I'll ever write. I love the anime song pack and will probably only play FighterZ with these anime songs from here on out. However, objectively this DLC is severly lacking and overpriced for what it is. First of all, everything is the TV cut of songs.. which means they'll loop 3 times before a match is over. Destroys immersion bigtime and sucks the epic-nostalgia flow right out of a situation. Sometimes I feel I'm living my DB and having the most amazing gaming experience of my life, but then the music ends, like nope. Cha La is the really lame new version sung by that monotone guy for the reboot movies. Why? It's terrible and insulting. I feel there's too much of an emphasis on vocal songs when DB has some of the best BGM in history. Why do we have almost every opening and ending song and only one or two intrumental songs?! Those are the songs that are MUCH more important to include for a game. To recreate the battle atmosphere, we need more music that was actually in the background during fights in the series. I adore Romantic Ageru yo and Dan Dan, but fighting to those songs over Tobikkiri no Saikyou tai Saikyou, Kyokugen Batoru!! San Dai Supa or Tenka-Wakeme no Chô-Kessen?! What was the thought process behind the music selection.. Don't exploit GT's music if you're not gonna give GT love and include a character in the game...

I recieved this with the Legendary version of FighterZ. This DLC was also released in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Personally, I actually like this DLC quite a bit. Now, I will Level with consumers on this one. This DLC is /NOT/ worth it for the Price. Sure it is nice to have Music from previous Dragon Ball Shows, but when it comes down to Money to Money Worth Ratio. You get 11 Songs from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z & Dragon Ball GT: - Mystical Adventure! – the opening theme to the Dragon Ball TV series. - I’ll Give You Romance – the ending theme to the Dragon Ball TV series. - CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA – the first opening theme to the Dragon Ball Z TV series. - WE GOTTA POWER – the second opening theme to the Dragon Ball Z TV series. - Come Out, Incredible ZENKAI Power! – the first ending theme to the Dragon Ball Z TV series. - We Were Angels – the second ending theme to the Dragon Ball Z TV series. - Bit by Bit, You’re Charming My Heart – the opening theme to the Dragon Ball GT TV series. - Prologue & Subtitle – episode recap and title card music from Dragon Ball Z. - A New Hero is Born – background music track from Dragon Ball Z. - Solid State Scouter – the Bardock TV special insert song from Dragon Ball Z. - The Fearsome Ginyu Special Force – background music track from Dragon Ball Z. **ONE THING TO NOTE** The two opening themes to Dragon Ball Z (Cha-La-Head-Cha-La & We Gotta Power) are the TV VERSIONS. I.e; They are the short versions of these two songs. And this has annoyed many people. **OVERALL** In the end, this DLC is hit or miss. If you want your DBZ music IN GAME, then this is the DLC for you. But many people have stated that they will simply open the Music in Youtube on Chrome in the background as they play, and for them, that's a good way to play. I'll have this as recommended, merely for the **HARDCORE** Fans of the Franchise. I myself am one of them and I am happy with the product. Songs from this pack can't be played in Arcade mode, where you can't select music for the matches. You are basically paying for this music to be available only in online matches. Worst rip off ever.

Sadly I hope you check these comments before purchase. These are only snippets of the songs. On the flip side, their pretty unique and give off those classic fighter game vibes. Depending on the song though, the chorus could get annoying through multiple matches lol

Why aren't these songs full length? Some of these repeat after 1 minute or so. Really strange...

I am a huge Dragon Ball fan, love everything about the series, but this just isn't worth it. For the record, this game is also fantastic, easily the best DB game and one of my favorite fighting games by a huge margin. When I heard about the ultimate edition that came with this music pack. i was really excited. Fighting all of my buddies while jamming out to tunes from DB? Sounds dope. But unfortunately, this pack is a complete letdown. First of all, the songs are in their TV sizes, meaning they're about a minute and thirty seconds. Why is this the case? Full versions of these songs exist in just about every sound file you can get. And second of all, which is the worst part of this pack, they don't even have the original Cha-La Head-Cha La! It's the flow version! Look, I don't hate the flow version, but pretty much anyone will tell you the original is just better. Better yet, why not have both? This pack is 15 bucks for God's sake! Don't even get me started on the songs they could have included for this price. Pretty much ANYTHING from Kai or Super would be a start. But hey, that's for a future music pack, I'm sure. It's really a shame that DLC has actually become this low-effort and this over-priced. Don't buy this and support this kind of garbage, spend your money on something more worthwhile.

DO NOT BUY !!!!!! This DLC is a clear a clear rip-off from Bandai. Plus you cannot get refunded as steam considers that you have "played" with the tracks. That's funny because those are so short that you can barely notice them. SHAME ON YOU for lying to your customer, Steam & Bandai !!!!!!

11 cut versions of songs for 15$.... We just paid 15$ for the previews of these songs. I can go to iTunes right now and buy all these songs, the full versions, for $0.99 each. THE FULL VERSIONS. Wtf guys, clearly a rip off. Its the same as the Xenoverse 2 anime music pack dlc. Clearly a copy-past shared content of laziness. Thought you guys were going big with this game, but I guess youre just going home. EDIT: My mistake, it's not iTunes that has them, it's Google Play.

All Themes and Credits tracks are the TV cuts, meaning its only the samples of the full songs. To charge $15 for song fragments is frankly insulting.

Has the songs: Mystical Adventure, I'll Give You Romance, CHA-LA HEAD CHA-LA, We Gotta Power, Come Out, Incredible ZENKAI Power, We Were Angels, Bit by Bit, You're Charming My Heart, Prologue & Subtitle 1, A New Hero is Born, Solid State Scouter, and The Fearsome Ginyu Force Lots of good songs in here, but most of them are NOT the full versions, most notably We Were Angels and CHA-LA. This is pretty bad for a 15 dollar dlc pack; for the price of free, you can just google the song in a separate browser and have the full version playing in your match. Also the Ginyu song isn't even THE iconic Ginyu song. It's just the orchestrated thing when they are first introduced. It's not even worth buying the Ultimate Edition for this. Save your money and buy something else. Don't buy this.
