Okay coming from the gaming/animation industries, there is one hard fast rule for any game, especially early access. There needs to be a tutorial or something that leads your players through the structure of the game. You should never ever have to make them work to learn your game mechanics. I'm still watching thisi and will give it another go later on

This game is unique to say the least, letting you build gravity defining cities. It constantly upgrades with frequent updates, listens to community feedback and has great potential. It is still early access so as expected don't think about fully polished game it is being molded in developers hands.

Doesn't have a(n acceptable) tutorial. There's a 100 buttons and I don't know where to start, nor do I have an inclination to spend the time to figure out whether this game is any good. Shame, bcoz it looks quite neat.
Probably worth revisiting when there's a proper tutorial in place, not just a wall of text (and pictures, to be fair), IF you happen to guess the button that needs clicking to find that out. Not very intuitive UI.
Good luck to the devs, I hope to revisit this title when a proper tutorial makes it playable. At present time, I bounced right off the wall of complexity.

I don't recommend this game at this time. BUT I think it can be really cool. The tutorial needs to be much more comprehensive. I haven't been able to get any of my buildings to start working. I keep getting notifications that I need a "Warehouse" or an "Atmoport" but I already have them in my city. I don't understand how to connect power and water; how you get residents to move in; how the road / pedestrian connections work. Add more tutorials please!

What a brilliant and fun game, you have the ability to build in all 6 directions without gravity holding you back. All of the buildings are beautifully designed and futuristic, with more things being added as the game continues to develop. To add a layer of depth to the game its more than just building zones for residents, commerce and industry you also get to manage the resources necessary to allow the buildings to grow via demand of certain products that you can choose manufacture in your city or buy on the in game market.
I found this game when I was looking for a new city builder and even though its early access its very playable and the developer is very active in new content and bug squishing, I have really enjoyed this game since I purchased it, you have so many options for creative building at your disposal

Overall, I do think it is an interesting concept and cool twist on a city-builder, Atmocity also boasts impressively complex systems for politics, economy and production. Also, the graphics, where rather simplistic, is rather appealing.
My main gripe with this product is the very finicky, and the sensitive controls that makes moving infuriating and going to specific areas is near impossible, which makes it hard to near impossible to play.
However, again, I do find this concept interesting and I am interested in seeing where this game goes and hope the controls will improve so it is easier to play.

It's not bad, but there are a few things that I can hope that the developer will change in the future. The biggest, to me, are the extremely small text size (it's unreadable from anything over 6" away from the screen. and the font is fuzzy), cluttered menu (Not everything needs to be laid bare in a context group), small UI elements (icons are very busy, without much else, this also ties into the font issue), too many functions being assigned to one button (Middle mouse handles zoom, rotation, and height currently), and an almost invisible main and pause menu.
That aside, I've been having some fun digging into the menus and playing around with the various city aspects, even laughing at the fact that the winery doesn't want storage anywhere near it (Where do you expect to keep your product, my dude?).
If you're looking for something like Sim City, this isn't it. But it does show immense promise to be something even better with time.

I really want to love this game, but it needs some major quality of life updates. The fact that WASD zoom in/out instead of panning and panning is done with the mouse, and that that functionality is not changeable is my biggest complaint.
However the graphics are lovely, the gameplay seems really promising, and I can't wait to see what this game develops into!

Really having fun with this title. A tutorial will be a big help as it took me a while to figure out the complex systems and how to connect all the demands of the buildings. I love the idea of building in multi sided blocks. It opens your ideas of creativity up. I look forward to the future development of the game as the team continues to work on the title.
I would recommend this to anyone who likes city building / management sims.

There is much to say about this game and I can wholeheartedly advise people to give it a try for multiple reasons. All in all I would say its more than worth for this price which I find quite cheap for a game such as this which has much more depth than one might think. It is a nice citybuilding game. As ususal there is good and bad things.
 Good:

The setting is great and unique and fun to play with.

The design is simple and yet great to look at.

The economic simulation is far more complex than what it first appears and it provides a very good challenge while building up the city. May it be various policies, inflation, wages, growth everything is connected and is most satisfying to make a city prosper through economic crashes and let it grow. Prices for goods on the global market change too, adding a lot of realism. Trade, Conglomerates.. I could just carry on with more and more!

Policies are most diverse and push your city to a certain ideological direction. From libertarian to communist to super capitalist one can shape the politics of their city to their liking and the developer is adding more in that direction and I cannot wait to see it happen.

The developer is reachable and most keen on fixing bugs and adding new stuff. An open personality who is steadily working to improve the game and open to thoughts. As its early access its still work in progress and some things are not finished but there is constant work on it so its really no problem. The updates happen very often.

There is a retromode for people who enjoy building the classical city on the ground instead of in the sky.

There is a sandbox-mode for people who just want to build up their city as they please with no moneylimitations.
 Bad things.

Camera and controls: It takes a while to get used to the controls and the usage of the camera. But once you get used to it, it is really no problem and building stuff is no issue.
Edit 15.03.2021: There has just been an update making the camera much more quick and fluent to improve upon it. I am inclined to say that the negative stuff gets fixed over stuff.

Information: It takes a while to realize how things work. It seems a bit intransparent at the beginning how stuff is connected so you have to think yourself into things. None the less mastering it is most satisfying but the dev said he is working on it.

The building icons in the menu take a while to get used to, as they show tiny pictures of the buildings instead of symbols.
 Neutral:

The campaign works as an extensive tutorial for making a larger city. The tutorial itself is rather basic, one needs to keep that in mind.

You need to actively seek to understand how the game works. It won’t serve you everything on a silverplate and offer you challenge. For me its perfect, while others might find it frustrating.
Seing all that I would give it a 4,5 out of 5. I am sure that once its out of its early access phase it will be even nicer.
