Great concept, not so great outcome. Should have tried the demo first.
As soon as I came across this game, I was all about getting it, especially since it supports VR. Only problem is I couldn't get it to work with my headset. I have a Quest 2, and while it's not officially supported, I do have a link cable that pretty much turns it into a Rift. I've been able to play every other VR game I have with almost no problems so far. Sometimes I have to change the compatibility to Windows 7 on a game, it didn't help on this one.
So I tried it on my PC and figured if it's at least good on there I'll keep it. From what I gathered, you aren't able to angle your cue stick at all, you basically just pick what ball to hit, pick the pocket to aim for, and then pick how much power to give your shot. I didn't spend a lot of time with this so maybe I was missing something. I'm going to download the demo and spend more time with it to make sure. If there actually is an option to angle your cue stick manually and I figure it out, I'll buy it again even if I can't get it to work in VR. I'm sure it having "auto aim" makes it easier, but personally, I'm not looking for easy.
