This is another really oldie but goodie.

An old time classic! One of the best game ever made!

I played this years ago, a good game I enjoyed it them and enjoying it again now.

The original X-Com. What more do I need to say? One of the best games I ever played when I was a teenager.

Simply one of THE best games ever made. My play time here only clocks in at just over 100 hours, but I've owned this on both floppy disk and CD since the 90's, and have played through it on all difficulties countless times over 30-odd years. It's just the perfect blend of strategy, tension, terror, and alien blasting goodness. The way that all the game's elements are balanced and blended is nothing short of miraculous, and it has one of the most addictive gameplay loops ever, assisted by the fact that very few missions are ever the same. Genius stuff. I will say that the performance with this version is a bit sluggish, and that one annoyance has always been tracking down any last stray bad guys. But that's it for the nitpicks. An absolute 10/10 game for me.

I played this game a lot back when my computer was a 486. It was terrifying, but also very, very fun. It's still terrifying, and fun.

I have played this game from day one (1994) and I am surprised how well it actually kept up for being a game that is 31 years old.

Classic game that's still worth playing, a favorite from my childhood

Classic. I used to love this game back in high school. Something about the combination of saving the world, small tactical fights, and the general scope of the game always appealed to me. I plan on doing another play through in the near future, maybe try a harder difficulty or something.
