the perfect mix of cozy gaming but still gives the the rage and stress of any other job

It's terrible. It starts slowly, over-explaining everything, and then randomly stops providing support. It doesn't even cover customer satisfaction. The timer runs even during the menus or notepad. It's too stressful for a casual game but it's too low-effort for a real one. Additionally, the in-game prices for upgrades that aren't even explained are ridiculous.

This game works a lot better on mobile and i'd have continued here if my progress didn't get reset. On the mobile game the pizza buddy upgrades cost diamonds and through ads or purchase you can obtain quite a lot and improve the pace of the game significantly. However, on the PC the diamonds currency is still in game however, the pizza buddies cost 500 bucks each. The problem is if a pizza needs 2 toppings, I need to click on the pizza 36 times to apply all of them and with a mouse it's slower than on a touch screen. This make the game play slow and tedious since t I can only earn 30 to 50 a day and things are constantly unlocking or the oven is breaking or the lock is breaking and it sets me back too much. It's a shame because the game is pretty casual and has potential to be fun with the customers riddle orders but the balance issues make it decidedly too slow paced and boring. If I'm buying a game out right I don't want to feel like I'm being punished for not accept ridiculous amounts of ads or micro transactions.

This game has upgrades that are way too expensive. You make such a low profit per day and it takes forever to purchase upgrades. If a customer wants pepperoni on their pizza, that requires 18 clicks of your mouse. If they ask for 3 or 4 toppings, its 18 clicks for each topping. You make about $10-$30 profit per day, and the upgrade to apply one topping automatically is $500, so you will just be playing a clicking simulator for a few hours. I really wanted to like this game and I thought the premise was cute but it's way too grindy.

I love this game. I played it a lot of switch. I would be playing SO much more if it was more comparable with playing on the steam deck (specifically on the dock with a PS5 controller). It's just difficult. I wish it would play like it did on switch

too much dlc filler. microtransactions and timer events for customization. The game is just ok .

This is a very fun game that reminds me a lot of the old pizza game in Club Penguin that I played as a kid. Plus it has way more story than I expected. It is silly and lighthearted and relaxing.

as someone who has been playing this on mobile for awhile, i thought the version on steam wouldn't have micro-transactions since it costs money upfront. i didnt play it long enough to see if they try to get you to watch ads too. honestly this game feels clunky playing on a mouse, feels better on a touchscreen. guess i'll just stick with the mobile app.

Perfect game for relaxing! If you're into cozy gaming it fits the genre. I hope they bring Good Coffee, Great Coffee to Steam like they did this game.

I want to start by saying that I used to love this game. When I first bought Good Pizza, Great Pizza a few years ago, it was charming, fun and surprisingly addictive. The art style was adorable, the gameplay loop was simple but engaging and I had a great time progressing through the story. I liked it so much that I put in the time and effort to 100% the game and at that point, it felt worth it. Then came the updates. The developers introduced changes that axed alot of the original achievements. Things I had previously accomplished no longer counted. Still, I cared about the game enough that I committed to re-earning everything. And for a while, it was okay. But Chapter 5 changed all of that. It’s one of the most tedious, frustrating and bloated additions I’ve ever seen in a game like this. It dragged on way longer than it needed to, lacked the intuitive design of the earlier chapters, and often required me to look things up just to understand what the game wanted from me. Instead of feeling like a fun challenge, it felt like a chore. By the time I finally finished and 100% the game again, I didn’t feel satisfied, I felt relieved. That’s never a good sign. All of the charm and joy that made this game special in the beginning had been slowly chipped away by unnecessary complexity and poorly thought-out updates. In the end, Good Pizza, Great Pizza became something I no longer enjoy. It went from being a game I recommended to friends to one I wouldn’t play again. If you’re new, you might enjoy the first few chapters, but just be warned: the more you play, the less great it gets.
